My new favorite rice
My family and I used the Uncle's rice (orange box) for probably 60 years, but the past couple years I've been getting lots of dry hulls and discolored kernels—so I tried Parish Rice. and I have been impressed with the clean look of it—the grains are nice and long, and it cooks and tastes great. It's my new favorite!

This rice is great
Started using this rice over a year now. There is not difference in taste or texture just a little better for you. I have made it on stove, rice cooker, and in recipes.

No blood sugar spikes for me
This is the best rice I have bought, great taste when made with chicken fried rice, I have type 2 diabetes and this is the only rice that does not rise my blood sugar any more than a normal meal, every rice I have tried shot my blood sugar very high

The beauty of this rice is it's just like regular rice but has a lower glycemic index!! Great for low carb diets and diabetics looking for a rice option that doesn't raise blood sugar!! GREAT CHOICE FOR A HEALTHY DIET!!!

Great for diabetics
this rice is great. it takes the same as regular white rice, but it's much better for you if you're diabetic and I love it. I hate that it's hard to find and I don't want to buy it through third-party vendors. normally it cost less than $5 a bag from walmart.com if they can keep it in stock. I usually add a little more liquid and cook it a little longer than it calls for, but it's perfect! It would be nice if they would get it back in stock

Great Choice- Parish Rice
I gave a bag to a friend and she loves it too. The low glycemic value is great and higher protein too! And, it's grown in Louisiana!!!

Lower carb rice ❤️
I’m THRILLED that we can get this rice in Dallas now! My husband is from Eunice, where this rice is grown. We love that it’s lower carb, higher protein and doesn’t taste any different from regular rice, Please keep stocking it in Dallas!
