Patak's Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce, 15oz

This Tikka Masala is so delicious. It was easy to make and easy to serve. It smelled pleasant and had an excellent flavor. It was just the right thickness. I did add a bit of cream to it but that was too as another flavor. It would be fine with or without it. I will definitely be buying this again.

If you love Indian food but are short on time or just really don’t want to commit to a time consuming sauce process this sauce is made for you! I was worried that the flavor would not be what I wanted but was so surprised at how wonderful the flavor was. This is definitely something that I will make on a regular basis and can’t wait to try the other Patak sauce that is available.

Pleasantly surprised with blend of spices, flavorful but not hot. Added some to a chicken and then baked it with some potatoes, brussels spouts, carrots and celery for 1-hour . Yummy!!!

It is delicious! Savory and tangy and a little spicy! I always make extra sauce with ours so we have plenty to dip the naan bread! One of my families favorites- no left overs when I make it.

I love to have this simmer sauce on hand for a quick, healthy dinner option. You can quickly saute some chicken and onions, then add the sauce over rice. Or throw everything in the crockpot, and voila. Saves me every time.

The sauce in particular is very good. I love the whole line of products from this company how they recommend giving them a try weaves is pretty often for dinners of different kinds and is a stable in our planning for future meals shipped from Walmart very safely and easily however they recommend recommended.

For that one person in a million that likes their Indian food bland, this is the sauce for you. For the rest of us, this product doesn't meet expectations. It's doesn't actually taste bad, and it's not expensive, but frankly, I wouldn't use it again if it was free. If I had to pick a single word, that word would be ,"inauthentic". Look elsewhere.

I had high hopes for this sauce but once I tasted it it was a total let down. It really has no flavor per se at all and is in fact quite bland tasting. I was expecting some fantastic new sauce to spice up my chicken and pasta dishes but I ended up slaving over the stove coming up with ways to turn a loser into a winner. I ended up dumping a whole packet of chicken bouillon, a generous application of garlic powder, and some red pepper chili flakes. to dial up the flavor and make a $5 dollar jar of sauce worth the money I spent on it. I only used half a jar on my chicken dish and I'll most likely toss the rest in the garbage because even with the extra added ingredients it still isn't worth saving. I will not buy again.

It does have much of a flavor. When I think of tikka masala, I expect a potent tomato with curry flavor. I didn’t think this had much taste at all. I’ll stick with Maya Kaimal. I decided to try this since it was cheaper. If you prefer your sauce not as flavorful, you’d probably like this.

Flavorless %26 not a good deal. Had to buy twice as many jars as spaghetti sauce as they are small. Then ended up throwing the whole thing (including chicken) away, as it had virtually no flavor - even after we added more Indian seasoning to the pot to help it. Very disappointed to have wasted so much money.
