The chews are in a great "french fry" shape which you can easily cut into smaller pieces for smaller dogs. They are very fresh and pliable, not old and shriveled like some companies dog treats that I've tried. Also, they do not have a lot of chemicals/additives. They are made in the USA and my dog loves them! I would definitely purchase again.
These sweet potato dog treats are WAG-delicious!! All four of our mutts smile every time they are offered. They run around in circles for them. No other treat compares. Tasty and scarf-down goodness. From our furballs (Minchi, Mo, Miki and Winki) to yours- Buy this treat!! Recommended four-fold!
My Yorkie is very finicky about her treats. in fact she just like one or two and she's 7 years old. I saw these sweet potato sticks and I thought that would be a bust but she loved them. she's so small and I find these a little hard and I have to cut them into smaller pieces for who to eat. but she always looks bored with excitement to getting her sweet potato stick. I would recommend
Like much better than the jerky wrap with sweet potato. I have a small dog that had trouble chewing because most of the time the jerky ones are hard. These with sweet pot. only are fabuloys for him and give him good fiber in diet! They are soft and allow him to chew. Highly recommend!
My dog's are very fond of these and every other treat I purchase from this company . I've left reviews on other products I've purchased so let me just say this . There are instructions that tell you how many treats a day . So , please read the packaging for ingredients and how much should they ingest a day
I'm giving these to my chihuahua's and they absolutely love them! They're so soft that you can twist them in half to give a smaller portion to even the tiniest of dogs! My older senior chihuahua who has not as many teeth left as she once had is also able to easily chew these because of the texture being the perfect balance of moisture they have in comparison to other brands I've tried. I love that they are so healthy for my babies and not just empty calories considering how picky they are while having such tiny tummies! My big dog enjoys them just as much as these are one of the few items that can be shared between all of my furry family members despite their size differences. They are all so picky about food and treats but these are just LOVED by each and every one of my dogs and that's rare in my house. :)
This is my service dog's all-time favorite treat. She always begs for more than one. But because it's her most favorite, she gets this one as reward for the last potty break of the night. And she has learned that this Treat is her signal to settle down/time for bed. She has other treats for variety and our monthly budget because she is definitely a snack hound %26 hunter 24/7/365! This is a favorite for her because of flavor and texture. It's my favorite because it's healthier—one ingredient and a great replacement for rawhide type of chews. For smaller dogs, minding number of treats with dieting, or just to stretch your budget further, these treats also cut pretty easily with kitchen-sheer type of scissors. Definitely worth the price.
I purchased these particular sweet potato's because they have no hard chicken or duck jerky wrapped around them. My little girl Ginger (9lb.) dog has a collapsed trachea so she eats soft small pieces, yes I do cut these up in small pieces for her but they are a little more expensive by weight, compared to the wrapped ones by weight. I'm a penny pincher so I've got to save when and where I can.
It's a split decision. I have 2 dogs that love treats. I was trying to get a healthy treat with the sweet potato flavor. One dog loves them, the other won't touch them. I'm going to keep buying them and I would recommend that if you have dogs that love treats to try them.
My dog will not touch this product. Unfortunately I ordered two pkgs. The actual “treat” looks like a destroyed piece of carrot……I did not realize that it was a product of China……I would not have purchased…. Anyway, I have $30 worth of junk. My dog has better taste than others I guess.
