I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but had the controller for a few days and so far it works great

Surprisingly affordable, well built, and corded. Playing games like ACNH, Super Mario 3D World, or Pokemon for extended periods of time with a Pro controller can really take a toll on your wrists. This PDP controller helps mitigate wear and tear (avoid drift/damage) on my procons when playing anything other than Splatoon with motion controls. ('cause procons are expensive.) Pros: • Has RGBs with modes, lets users pick from a wide spectrum of colors • The two mappable buttons under the unit can come in handy, especially when playing an RPG • D-Pad is solid and very responsive, the same can be said for L3/R3. Better than a procon's in my opinion. • Though some probably won't use it, the included headphone jack is nice to have. • Joysticks are raised a bit which eliminates the need for risers. Difference is shown next to a stock procon (might appeal to avid Paladins, Warframe, Fortnite, or Apex players) • Those who use their Switch for media consumption (YouTube, Crunchyroll, etc) or "AAA Clock" (for the select few who use their tv like an oversized clock?) wont have to worry about a dying controller battery while watching movies, having a binge session, or idling about. • Solid build, controller has no gaps between the shell and doesnt creak when gripped tightly. Can definitely handle a light impact or fall - With a price falling in the low/mid $20 range, packing more features than a PowerA controller of the same price. You really can't go wrong with this Afterglow unit. Cons: • Lacks haptic feedback. (no vibration) • Has no motion controls or NFC support (to be expected) • The handles are a few millimeters shorter than a procon. Might feel odd at first to users with medium/large hands. Difference is shown next to a stock procon • A/B/X/Y buttons can get to being a bit loud when playing fast paced titles like Brawlhalla, SSBU, or Ninjala Placement of the Home/Screencap/ /- buttons can be a bit confusing to those who are already used to Nintendo's Pro controller layout

Everything about this controller is great!! I absolutely love this & even my mom thought it looked really pretty! My only issue is the paddle buttons on the bottom are too stiff to function competitively because they're hard to press. Other than that, everything about it is great!!

Works very well but it got dropped and one of the back buttons stopped working. Good thing is we bought the insurance. It didn't cover the full amount but then Walmart dropped the price and we were within $7 of the new price. Bought it again.

Worked perfectly fine for roughly four months, but then the A button got stuck pushed in indefinitely. I didn't have any issues with the control sticks as I've seen in other reviews, but was a little disappointed that the A button is now stuck only after four months of continued use. Not too bad considering the price, though.

Product arrived swiftly. New condition, plug-n-play, great price.

I bought this so my grandson could use this controller oppose to the ones that came with his Nintendo switch. The thing is the instructions weren't clear for neither of us and then I google for help and it asked for us to utilize the sync button that wasn't on it. After throughly searching I discovered you will need the base to connect, something he doesn't have. The controller is extra pretty but ensure you have all you need to connect or upgrade for the wireless one.

For an exclusively certified Nintendo Switch product it is not perfect replacement for the Joy-Cons. Suffer from game pauses and controller disconnects. USB wired to custom molded micro USB which is recessed in the controller(May have some difficulty replacing USB cable if needed). There is no vibration in this controller which there is a facility for two vibrating motors in the handles which are missing. The RGB is a little meh. Some other people may like the RGB. Have not tried the audio. Not too sure if it takes a special headset plug or regular headphones. Does not contain motion sensors or infrared camera. The two (Programmable)paddles in behind the controller make it hard to hold without accidentally doing A or B buttons which are factory mapped to them. The + direction pad(D-Pad) is easy to press in the neighboring direction(Hitting right might make it go up or down accidently) may take some getting used to. I bought this so I don't have to worry about ruining my Joy-Cons or even need to remove them from the system. Other Afterglow controllers are labelled Console<>PC compatible(This one is PC compatible). Not too sure of the longevity of this controller after a few hours of use a week. Only bought this controller barely a month ago. Wish I can re-review after a year and see how well it still works.(Only reviewing the product. Not the company that sells it)

PDP have Horrible Products and even worst Warranty Policies. I bought 3 of these controllers and all these of them are getting stuck buttons, as if the plastic within them is cheap. I tried to go through their warranty policy with each controller, 3 seperate controllers, 3 seperate excuses of why they wouldn't back up their defective products. 1st controller Stuck Y button 2nd controller Stuck B button 3rd controller Stuck A button. (unfortunately I disassembled and clean this one to assure it wasn't anything on my end, which obviously voided the warranty for the 3rd product)
