I use this as a foam interfacing for handmade bags. I used a Teflon foot and it was OK to sew and Quilt on.

I received the item yesterday. Its not the flex foam I had been looking to order, however there's a lot of it. Its thinner than the foam I wanted, but if necessary, i will just double the layers.

I purchased this item because of the Pellon brand and price. The packaged arrived timely and securely taped, however the quality is extremely low compared to the packaged Pellon Flex Foam I've purchased a few times. The cardboard roll has no markings of the Pellon brand. The packaged flex foam is covered on top and bottom with a silky smooth stabilizer and has a cushy feel. The roll I received does NOT have a top, nor bottom stabilizer; it's comparable to the thin foam used in picture frame backings. I may attempt to sew small quilted zipper bags from this foam. If you think it's too good to be true, it probably is - definitely in this situation. I would not recommend this product to serious sewists.

This foam may be good for some projects but for quilting bags I'm not impressed. It's much thinner and less sturdy than pellon flex foam which is what I was hoping it would be comparable to. I saw so many great reviews but wasn't until after I got the product I noticed the majority of them are listed as incentivized. I spend too much time and money on my quilting projects to use poor foam stabilizer so I will be returning
