Pellon 973F Fleece Fabric, White 45" x 10 Yards by the Bolt

I was looking for Pellon 973F %26 the description of this item stated 973F but when it arrived, the bolt stated 973FW1. I don't know what the difference is between the 2 but the 973FW1 works well in my totes—it provides just the right amount of firmness %26 support to allow my totes to stand up without flopping over, yet not so much that it makes the fabric stiff, which I don't care for in other products

I'm a bag maker and have used this for years. The weight/thickness occasionally varies but always fuses well. Despite price increases, can't beat Walmart price.

This fusible fleece is heavy duty and can not even be purchased at Joann's. I have used many different kinds in the tote bags I make and this is the heaviest and best buy. I can buy on line and basically get 5 yards free. The bolt is only $35 and it is 10 yards, at Joann's I pay $70 for a 15 yard bolt and it is not nearly as heavy duty. So for the same money I get an extra 5 yards and it is delivered to my door with a small shipping fee. Very happy and will continue to order this

I have used "Pellon Heavyweight Fusible Fleece" when quilting and love the stuff. My last project was a stuffed rabbit my granddaughter wanted made from a T-shirt type knit. It worked so well the rabbit holds it shape and even sets up in the middle of the bed. I plan to use it so often I ordered a whole bolt. Two things to keep in mind if you plan to sew with it, 1) it's best to allow the fabric fused with the fleece to cool completely after ironing and before sewing. When the glue is still hot it effects the way thread and needle pass through the fabric and makes it stick. 2) Sew with care and try to get it right the first time. Ripping the seam can be difficult, the thread can be removed but it takes time .

I was very pleased to find this product at Walmart. The last time I bought this from another site I paid almost $20.00 more and that was supposed to be a bargain. Anyone that sews or crafts knows the quality of the Pellon brand. Can't beat it. Thank you Walmart.

I had no idea that this fleece would be so very thick. I've just recently begun sewing again after many years and, if I ever knew, had lost touch with varioius uses and different types of interfacings. This product appears to be of good quality, but is definitely not for what I purchased it for---hat interfacing. I used it for one summer floppy brim hat pattern and I believe it will serve me better for winter days. This pellon is a good buy, just know that it is thick, looks like batting and would be great for quilts, pillows, bags, place mats or cold weather jackets---not hats.

Every time I order this interfacing I get a different quality of product. Several times it was so bad I had to return it. Then I got one that was the quality it used to be. Thick, good body. Now this one is so thin it's terrible. I guess it's usable….maybe. The inconsistency is just terrible. This one isn't even 973F. It's 973FW1. What does that even mean. I desperately need a new supplier of this.

I just repurchase a new bolt of this pellon 973F fusible fleece as I was just about out of my previous bolt. The bolt came wrapped messy. I could see where it was fused together and not all one piece on the bolt. I had to double check, because I thought maybe I purchased the wrong product, but it is the exact same one I had previously purchased. It is not the same quality. I compared it to my previous bolt it it is only about 60% of the thickness. It feels cheap and I am utterly disappointed. I have noticed this with other Pellon products. I will not repurchase again and I would suggest people look for better quality alternatives.

not the correct fleece i normally receive. this one looks and feels thin. not heavyweight, and texture is wrong. im returning it because during covid i received this same type, and it never did stick to the fabric correctly. not keeping ever again. why cant they be consistent and send correct product. its like this bolt of crap gets subbed in .

This fusible fleece is NOT the heavyweight 973 that it is marked. It is very thin, Plus it does not adhere. Tried it on denim, quilting cotton and Ultrasuede and it would not stick to any fabric. Very disappointed that I had to send it back. But, Walmart makes it easy to return.
