I need to make a quilt out t-shirts for a memory quilt. After checking on internet, what would work so the t-shirts would not stretch when sewing them together. Suggestions said to use Pellon 820 quilter's qrid, but since I noticed the only difference between 820 vs 821 was directions of grid. And since I could order it to be sent to my local store for pick up, I didn't have to pay shipping Pellon 821 quilter's grid interfacing makes the t-shirts stiff when ironing on with steam, but after you washing the quilt, it soften up like it wasn't even there.. That surprised me, when I make a sample t-shirt first.

I didn't realize what "grid on-point" meant when I ordered this. I don't need squares that are more like diamonds at a 45 degree angle. I should have ordered pellon 820 instead. At least it's non-woven so there's no grain and I can still use it -- I just have to waste so much when cutting it out at a 45 degree angle. It's probably good for making bias tape or whatever, but it didn't serve my quilting needs. My mistake.

Delivered a day later than promised by FedEx. Bolt of stabilizer was not wrapped in plastic as pictured so I'm not sure it contains the 10 yards I paid for. I will measure it to be sure. Secondly, the instructions normally provided by Pellon with their fusible products was not included. Double labels on outer plastic wrap. Looks like processing issue by FedEx caused delivery delay.
