Pellon batting blend quality
I have used many brands of batting over the years, never tried Pellon. A great surprise, high quality batting, feels great, looking forward to using soon! Great value!

nice weight
The batting was firmer than what I usually use so it was easier to pin the three layers together without wrinkles, and it was easy to sew.

Black batting
My order came in a timely manner. I haven't used it yet, but it seems kind of dense, and not very drapey. Maybe when quilted and washed I will like it better.

It's NOT quilt batting.
This is NOT quilt batting. It is felt. Or at least the bolt I got was. There is nothing wrong with the felt material but it's not good for quilting, too dense and stiff.

Un-quiltable fabric
This batting is a solid felt. It is impossible to machine quilt. It's too heavy, and solid for machine needle to penetrate.
