Pellon Sew-in Lightweight Fabric Interfacing, White 20" x 15 Yards by the Bolt

I use this interfacing for turned edge appliqué in art quilts. It provides a great edge for turning the fabrics. I quilt densely around the appliqué giving it a trapunto look. I wash the quilt before blocking which softens the interfacing.

Excellent quality and just what I was looking for. Impossible to find anywhere and is the perfect addition to 4-ply face masks.....as strong a nurse said as N95. MUST be sew-in, NONfusible as this product is. Good luck finding more! God Bless America!

Much thicker than lightweight and will still work for intended use. Unfortunately, is a bit wrinkled and will need to be ironed flat before use. Overall, still worthwhile purchase.

Difficult to rate because I have not used the product yet.

The material was NOT on a bolt! It came in two pieces on cardboard, with plastic shrink wrap around it. Then it was shrink wrapped and vacuum sealed in gray plastic for shipment. It wrinkled the material horribly! It looks absolutely awful! The cardboard the material is wrapped around isn't labeled at all, so I have no idea if it's even the right stuff, or the correct length between the two pieces! (The 3rd photo shows the blank cardboard end, and it's the same on both sides.) I would have to take it apart and measure each one to be sure. I have never used this material before, so I have no way of knowing what I received is correct. Local stores don't sell it. I paid for a BOLT, which is a SINGLE UNIT...so that is what I should have received! Then there's the shipping. I ordered the material on the 17th and it didn't get delivered until the 26th! The 25th was a holiday, but it should have been delivered before the holiday even occurred! Sooooo SLOW! Now I'm going to have to use this material as is, and I have to iron it before I use it. I am not happy! 😠 I have ordered bolts of material from other sellers on Walmart.com, and those sellers wrapped the bolts in bubble wrap before the shipping wrap was put on. It protected the material, and those materials arrived undamaged. I don't know why this material wasn't protected the same way, but it should have been! Also, if the seller plans on "substituting" an item, they should contact the buyer PRIOR to shipment to ask if it's okay, or to offer a refund. And if the material is UNAVAILABLE AS LISTED, then PULL THE LISTING! Buyers don't go through the hassle of shopping online, finding an item they want, pay for it, and wait for it to be delivered, only to find out it's been swapped out by the seller upon arrival! That's just poor business practices.

Item was mislabeled. I ordered lightweight but it felt more like mid-weight.

Not lightweight. Very stiff. I had to return it.

This interfacing is called "lightweight". It is actually quite heavy. I made due with it but was not happy with the results. I would not purchase this again.

i ordered 'featherweight' sew in interfacing.... on line as my local Wal-Mart did not have any. I did not receive featherweight.... the interfacing i received was more like a medium weight. I have been sewing for over 50 years and i know my fabrics very well and I did manage the fabric department at Wal-Mart for many years, I must say. The bolt does say featherweight. Somewhat disappointed since sewers do not have much options to buy our sewing needs.
