USPS imposes an additional fee if box is greater than 12 inches in any dimension. So, this carton lets us downsize it to 12 x 12 x 12 and get the good post office rates. But, sometimes you need a larger carton. So, this carton maximizes at 12L x 12W x 16H for when needed. Carton is clearly marked and contains pre-formed indentations to allow flaps to fold when selecting either 16 inch length, or 14 inch length, or 12 inch length. Just make cuts at each corner according to the pre-marked regions for any of those length selections. A box cutter knife is useful but any knife or scissors capable of cutting cardboard is okay. In the areas of each corner where you need to make a cut, there are no corrugations in the layers and that makes it easy to cut each of the corners as necessary. If I had to, I could do it with a standard non-sharp table or butter knife. These cartons are more sturdy than some cardboard cartons. They are not double thick corrugation but the paper board from which they are made is obviously sturdier than most other shipping cartons that bring product to my home. These cartons make me feel confident that the items I ship out are about as well protected as I can afford on my budget. I can never find these in the stores. The shelves have a tag but no stock. However, if I order them shipped to my home they arrive the next day. Where are they coming from? I don't know. So, in summary, 12x12x12 is a big deal when trying to ship and avoid the extra fee for "oversize." I found out about that 12x12x12 thing through a YT video so I'm passing that on to you. Knowing that one little trick saved me 40% on shipping fees for some of the household stuff I'm selling online. So, these cartons allow 12x12x12. These will do it. Yet, you've got a bigger box there when needed. (I'm trying to tell as much good stuff as I can so that maybe Walmart won't discontinue them. Sometimes I think the empty shelves might mean they're on the way out. But, I guess it's also possible that they are in such high demand that it's tough to keep them in stock.) I love how you can pick and choose the height of the box it's nice to have an adjustable one in case you have lots of different size and shapes objects to send out. Strength of the box is unmatched I have a pumpkin in mine and I can lift it without it breaking open. Nice lightweight box.

I'm very impressed with this box. The cardboard feels very sturdy so this box will have no problem handling moderate weight without collapsing. This product will do exactly what you need it to, it will keep items protected. This will work especially well for household goods, small business shipments, or moving. The multi/depth feature is by far the best thing about this. Being able to cut it to the size you need makes it way more versatile than your standard box, helping to reduce wasted space and the need for excess packing material. The price point can't be beat at under $3 and this will get the job done for a variety of uses.

A sturdy corrugated cardboard box from Pen + Gear that can hold a variety of items for shipping. Sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight and protect what you're shipping or storing. I love that you are able to easily change the size of the box without issues due to the indents and markings. Great idea! I'm hoping to find it in other shapes like rectangular and in multi packs to ship shoes and boots for resale!

I got a sample of one box to try. It's very nice! Solid box. Nice that you can slightly adjust the size of it. The corners held up well. I will be using it for shipping and it will be very sturdy. I will be ordering more of them to have on hand for shipping items.

I know Wal Mart sells these, because I've purchased before in the past. The boxes are a great value and very sturdy. Easy to assemble with packing tape. This is a medium, but it's large. If you need boxes for anything, forget going to the big moving stores for supplies, go to Walmart! You'll be happy you did and save some money. These boxes are now located in the hardware department instead of stationary.

This extra strength 3 in 1 adjustable height shipping box was the perfect box to send my mother-in-law a coach backpack in the mail all the way to Long Island New York. The assembly was so easy and functioned perfectly. Everything arrived safe with no damage to the box or items. It was thick and durable. I like how you could adjust the box to 16,14,or 12” for whatever size you needed.

This box is super useful! For moving, Christmas presents and to storage anything that you like. It have 3 different levels , the material is great, sturdy and trustable, the size goes between 12 - 14 and 16 inches, it arrive in a flat envelope box which is awesome and the size is great, this one is a medium size.

Lost a star because the box arrived ripped. Not really sure how it got torn but regardless. Good quality shipping box, I like that it has the ability to be multiple depths. Lightweight cardboard material nothing special but great quality. Despite the fact that it was ripped, it still functions relatively fine

Very thick box, I shipped a heavy product for my small business and it worked perfectly. The box came with the ends taped with paper tape and made it a bit upsetting to unwrap, as they peeled off a little bit. Besides that no major complaints. Holds a lot of stuff, you can use for 1000 things.
