Love Pen Gear products and purchase this brand exclusively for my paper, etc. needs. These scissors will be great for my kindergartner and second grader. The price was ridiculously good so I bought extras for the teachers to keep on hand. Thank you Walmart!

Sharp and easier on the hands than fiskars. We've bought a few fiskar blunt tips and they were horrible. Made my toddler extremely frustrated. Fiskars just have very cheap handles. Gave walmart's brand a try -- and it did the job as advertised. Better grip material around the handles.

These scissors are easy for a child to use. It is not pointy, so there's less of a chance of children hurting themselves. It's fairly sharp, but not to the point of danger. The different colors are beautiful. Ideal for home and school projects. I like it a lot.

This is an amazing value. School supplies are subject to increasing prices as everything else. These 5" scissors come in cute colors, easy grip for small hands to hold, and blunt ends to prevent cuts. I'm filling backpacks with school supplies for donations. Don't pass these up.. WORTH NOTING, I was able to fill all 8 (Wonder Nation backpacks $4.97) with all these supplies (Pen Gear brand) ordered online (I think it is less $$$ than buying in-store) for $110.00, that's under $14.00 a piece including the backpacks! I did divide the pencils, pens, glue sticks, highlighters and erasers up between the 8. A lot of items were under $1.00, and some 50 cents or below!! Okay, all the hard work has been done for you, now GET SHOPPING!!!

School supplies are a needed by every student in every school. My 16 year old daughter was making school caddies to put out at several different schools in her county, to help children with free supplies and hopefully inspire others to step up and help!

I bought these because they were the cheapest pair but after my 8.5 year old tried to cut with them I realized they were actually for beginners as they barely cut a thing.... now I'm wishing I had of bought another age appropriate pair.
