Pen+Gear Poly Zipper Binder, 1.5" Round 3 Ring , Size: 10.75" (W) x 1.75" (D) x 13.5" (H), Black

This Pen and Gear zipper binder is really useful! I got the 1.5" thick one and it's the perfect size for my needs. It measures 11" wide (left to right) and 13.5" long (top to bottom). I needed a zipper binder that could contain all of our personal documents. I have a large family (8 people including 5 children) and we need a place to store our personal documents, but we also need them to be easily accessible and portable. I placed all of our birth certificates, shot records, SS cards, school documents, etc. in plastic page protectors, then placed them in this binder. This binder zips up easily and keeps our documents contained and protected from dust, much better than the regular file folders I have used in the past. Now, when I need to access our personal documents, they are all in one place, and I can quickly grab the whole binder when we go to the doctors office, school, and other places where we would need to show our documents. This saves me so much time and headache. I would love to get several more of these for organizing other things... One for each of the following: manuals, receipts, tax information, homeschool planning, bills, etc. I'd highly recommend these zipper binders for all your organizing needs! Of course, they would also make great school binders as well, and you wouldn't have to worry about your papers getting misplaced, or spilling and scattering out of your backpack or desk. The only negative thing I would note, is that it is not heavy duty. For storage and occasional or careful use, it's perfect. But since the cover is completely bendable and a medium thickness, I can imagine the zipper busting if you fill it completely with heavy papers, school supplies, etc. So I would only recommend this for household use, and for school use for older kids/persons (high school and college). Lightweight and durable binder for everyday use. The zipper works better than anticipated. Very pleased with this purchase considering the affordable price and manufacturer. Fantastic value!

I love this binder! It is the perfect size to hold my papers, folders and pens. The zippered pouch in the front is handy and I love being able to see in the pouch. I don't have to dig around finding the correct color of the pen or pencil I need. The plastic feels "flimsy", but so far it's holding up well. Out of all the different options out there, this is definitely a good choice!

Normally, I have shopped for all of my school supplies long before now and the kids have all gone back to school. This year, with the Corona virus and then fires and power outages, the school year didn't start as anticipated. Even though school is about to start, it's not going to be the same, with most schools teaching by distance learning. Here are still many supplies we just can't do without. One thing that I just got is a great notebook from Pen n Ink. It's zippered, so whatever gets put into it stays put until it gets unzipped again. It's got three rings so my kidlet can put regular paper in it, with index dividers for each subject, or she can put spiral notebooks in it. It's got a zippered pouch in the front of the notebook where she can keep her pens, pencils, erasers, or small items. I took a picture because even with pencils and pens in it, I still had plenty of room to put my cell phone in there! I think this Pen n Ink notebook is a hit! It can hold a lot so I will be able to send my kidlet off knowing that she's got her supplies all under control.

I got this for use with my traveling. I like to print out everything associated with a trip and keep it in a notebook. I frequently refer to it while traveling and it helps keep everything in one place. This 1.5 inch binder with a zipper all around is absolutely perfect for keeping things together! Not only does it keep pass cards, parking receipts, maps, and reservations secure, but it also has a zippered pocket inside that I'm putting highlighters, pens, and markers in. I used it on a day trip yesterday, and it keep everything neatly organized and safely together. I'm using it again next week on a three-day trip, and am looking forward to it keeping my papers and information neatly organized.

It's just very flimsy, there's really no support to write on. You're going to have to be at a desk or table so you can lay the notebook flat. Aside from that, it'll serve the purpose I require it for.

I received the Pen + Gear Zipper Binder to try. I like the size of this it is a 1 ½” 3 ring binder with a zipper around the whole thing to close it up. This way you can't lose anything out of it. It also has a mesh pocket attached inside that also zips closed to hold things like pencils or pens, post its etc. These notebooks are great for students of course but even more than that. I use it on my desk for our monthly bills. It gives me a place to have a list of everything I am expecting for each month and to keep any bills that are mailed to me when they do come in. Since more and more is done online these days I like to keep track each month so that nothing is forgotten. Another way I feel that this could be used is in the work place. In my opinion this is made nice enough to take for work, Its not huge nor would it look non professional in a work environment. This is made of a thin plastic and looks very nice. It seems to be sturdy without being heavy. The only thing that I don't like is it does not stay open, like if opening to lay flat. For me I can still use but some may find this gets annoying.

the size is good. the zipper nice, design and pockets is good features. But the outer shell is to flimsy for me.

The zipper keeps getting stuck

Cheaply made. Rings are flimsy and bend extremely easily, causing them not to close properly, therefore not functional for flipping through papers or folders that are attached. We got 2 of these last hear and neither lasted the achool year. Spend a lottle more to get something that will last.
