Finally, someone is putting air vents in storage boxes! We use them to store vegetables and fruits because they have airflow. If you had to, they could be used to transport a small animal to the vet because of the all-around and handgrip ventilation. We are going to use the larger one to store in extra potting soil. The vent holes will help prevent mold from growing. Mold is a huge problem in the south so having vented storage is a real plus. They are very attractive with the wood grain tops and would go nicely in an office or anywhere you want good-looking storage. They nest neatly in each other too. There were 3 clips (shown on the right lid) and I'm not sure what they are for but since they fit on the bottom of the handgrips, they could be used for labeling. As far as sturdiness goes, they are ideal for light to medium weight items like apples, onion, potatoes, fabric, office supplies, clothing, etc. but I would not put anything really heavy in them.

I wanted to put my kitchen cart to better use as I was not using it for food preparation but a makeshift desk. So I ordered the Pen+gear 3 pack storage boxes with lids as they were perforated and would be versatile in their purpose for my needs. When the package arrived I was pleased that the shipping box was heavy and solid protecting the contents as it's important to me to receive a package well secured. When I took out the boxes - bound together nicely - I was happily surprised they were so much more attractive in my home that at first look I thought they sent me the wrong items! But double-checking my order they were the right ones - their online picture just didn't do them justice. And the faux wood tops and white container matched my copper kitchen perfectly. I plan on using them for not only paper items but dry pantry goods as they are after all in my kitchen and I could use all of the storage I can get.

There are three great sizes that all work as expected. Little holes all around the sides so air can come in and out. There are little clips that you can see in my picture on one side of each one at the hand holds. These I would assume as for labels. The lids are a little less than desired. They just sit on top and may fit snug and may not. Only one of mine I can get to fit snug the other two more or less just lay on top of the box. I was not sure what to do with them so my husband now has them for all of his car washing and drying towels.

In love with these organizing bins! They're so cute, and fit in any shelf, closet, ect, without looking bulky or out of place. Decent sizes too! I really enjoy the largest size bin, it's wonderful at organizing seasonal items, papers, and larger/taller type items. Will be back for more!

I would give these boxes a "10" in that they are well made and sturdy. 3 sizes to use for whatever need you may have. Just about anything can be stored in these useful and nice looking boxes. They are not flimsy and will hold up being stacked on top of one another. They would make excellent craft boxes, some thing to store spices in the cabinet, organize small clothing items and many other uses. I really like these storage boxes and would like to get more for my organizing needs.

I am using these storage boxes with lids to keep my children's toys that have a lot of pieces cleaned up. The containers are all the same except for the depth of them. The lids do not clamp on so if you happen to grab the bin by the lid and not the handles it does come crashing to the ground. I like the modern style to these bins and like that I can stack a few up to keep our play areas clean.

Purchased online - both the set of three and an individual one. The label tag makes it easy to know what is each box, keeping slightly bulky and/or unsightly items organized and stored attractively. One star off of perfect because one bin was missing a label tag and some folks may not like that the lids don't snap lock on tightly. (Lids fit well but there's no satisfying ‘click')

They are a bit flimsy, seem easy to crack and the lids come loose easily - slide off - they need to snap on better. I don't like the fake wood-look on the lid, would have preferred a simple black lid. Also, I find square shapes work better than tapered ones. Tapered doesn't allow stuff to fit inside evenly. Also, the holes/perforations prevent using these for food storage. How about making these in a food storage container set with no leak seals as a companion set to these?
