Big Fish and Deep Water Worthy
I've seen poor reviews on this rod, too each their own. I bought one of these rods, used it, went back and bought 2 more. I used one rod on the Nantucket Shoals believe it or not, 16 oz of lead AND caught a 7.5 lb 27 inch Fluke on this rod ! Here is where it really gets crazy... This is a spinning rod, I put a lews bait caster with reel on it with a left hand power crank handle to catch this fish. Penn has a great product in this rod. As often is done by manufacturers, Penn DO NOT stop producing this model !

Bought it for Hubby who loves fishing. He loves it very light weight and a great fish catcher! Recommend.

Rod feels good and has good action but is extremely fragile. The tip broke with a routine pull on on the rod.
