Pennington Liquid Concentrate Hummingbird Food Nectar, 16 Fl. Oz.

The Hummingbirds will only use this kind. They do not like any of the pre-mixed I have tried. So I get the kind you have to mix because they like it better.

I purchased a humming bird feeder for the first time and I needed some humming bird food to go in the feeder so I purchased Pennington Natural Springs Hummingbird Food Liquid Concentrate Nectar. It is very easy to mix this concentrate, its 3 parts water and 1 part humming bird food. So after making up a batch of this Pennington Natural Springs Hummingbird Food Liquid Concentrate Nectar, I poured the humming bird food into the feeder and hung it up outside. Within the hour I already had so humming birds! I was so happy to see how quickly they came to the feeder because I read it can take days/weeks sometimes. Anyway, so far so good! The humming birds love the food, I have seen quite a few different breeds of humming birds and even some other birds that where not even humming birds. This humming bird food works great and the birds seem to really like it, so I have already purchased more Pennington Natural Springs Hummingbird Food Liquid Concentrate Nectar to make sure the feeders dont run out. I like how deep of a red color this humming bird food is too, its bright and pretty out in my garden. I recommend this humming bird food, the birds love its and its simple to mix.

I have never tried artificial feeders for hummingbirds, but as I am limited now to a balcony of a duplex, I wanted to attract them for my soon to flower plants. After setting up the feeder with this 1/4 to 3/4 water ratio, the little guys came immediately to feed. My 9 and 14 year old daughter's are fascinated and my 15 year old son is actually intrigued as well. Very good product at a great price.

I like the concentrated food because it needs to be refrigerated after opening and doesn't take up a lot of space in the fridge. I have standard size hummimgbird feeders and use 1/4 cup nectar and 3/4 cup water per each feeder and it just about fills the whole feeder up. I am not a fan of the red dye they use (I doubt it can be good for hummingbirds) but there are vitamins in the nectar for the birds so I guess it evens out. I've used this type of nectar for a few years and the birds come back each year and fight over it, so it's gotta be good stuff.

works great, only cost a couple dollars just to make your day absolutely fantastic. all you gotta do is open it up fill this bottle and sit down and relax, next thing you know you have a swarm of hummingbirds flying and having fun drinking this stuff

I've bought Pennington hummingbird nectar for years and the hummingbirds love it a very good product I highly recommend it

The hummingbirds seemed to enjoy it but I later learned this is not good for them. Plain sugar water is best and more economical.

Bought as a gift to go with a hummingbird feeder, so I can't speak to how well it works. Smaller than I'd pictured, but it does say 16oz! Shipped well, no leaks.

My hummingbirds drink alot. I go through over a 64 oz. container a day, refilling the feeder 3-5 times a day. Only one complaint.... Since the concentrate wasn't available in nearby Walmarts, I had to order online. Previously I ordered and received, 8 bottles. This was time I was limited to 2 bottles per order, which doubled the shipping fee and the orders came from 2 different stores.
