First Nature Hummingbird Feeder, 16 oz, Red, Plastic

I bought these same ones years ago... I've had many different kinds of feeders ( many were far more expensive and fancier) I get a LOT of hummingbirds every year! For some reason, these feeders are the ones they prefer!!!! I have glass ones, expensive ones, etc.... but none of them are anywhere near as busy as these.. After quite a few years, the red color faded so I replaced 4 of them with these same new ones!

I bought 2 more hummingbird feeders for my yard. ‘Be used this one for years. It holds a good amount of nectar, is very easy to clean and has perches for the hummers to sit on when they drink. It's all plastic so if I drop it, it won't break. My first one lasted for years.

These were needed to replace the two I have used for years. Every year, the hummingbirds return to my yard. They will be here till March/April. They have relied on the feeders more this year than in the past because of the freeze killing most of the flowering plants.

I keep at least 4 of these feeders going all spring and summer. The hummingbirds seem to like them, because they will swarm them. These feeders are easy to fill and hang. And a big plus is they are plastic which is light weight and won't break if dropped like glass will.

My hummingbirds love this type of feeder. I never put food coloring in my nectar. It is harmful to the hummingbirds.. https://i5.walmartimages.com/seo/First-Nature-Hummingbird-Feeder-16-oz-Red-Plastic_5519f9e2-88ed-4ba3-8f20-7ed87a696b62.0892b910f8be0b4ed9051a46e6c823fb.jpeg

I have 8 feeders and the 4 I already have of these are always empty first. They rest easy on perches. To my surprise much more expensive feeders I have fill with ants very easy and massively. The design of the food ports is apparently exquisite because ants are seen on the feeder but not yet a single one inside after a month. I just ordered 4 more.

Large capacity and fairly easy to clean. Biggest problem is the food will not always get to the bottom of feeder. I go out every 4-5 hours and move it till it bubbles to bottom. Not a big problem but early in the morning the hummies will try it and leave because they are not getting any food.

For the money I can't complain. But when you fill it sometimes the bottom does not lock into place right. Then it opens and spills all the nectar. Needs a better way to fill it and close it correctly. It fell apart after filling it with nectar and fitting it into place it didn't hold and spilled all over.

This more of the review for the Walmart service. I ordered this Hummingbird feeder and drove 20 miles round trip to pick it up. They brought it to me in a bag. when I got home and took it out of the bag, it was missing the bottom part, making this feeder useless. When I called customer service, I was told that they were not able to ship me the new one. How could they not see that the item was missing part? Shame on you Walmart!

I wanted to like these (I ordered the 2-pack) because they were very inexpensive and were recommended to me. The problem is the slightest movement made the nectar come out through the feeding ports. I had it hanging at the edge of my front porch and it leaked all over the railing, attracting tons of little ants. I thought maybe I didn't have it tightened enough so I emptied and tried again. Same thing happened. It was a mess! I don't know what if the hummers liked it or not because I couldn't keep it up to see.
