Pennsylvania Dutchman Pieces & Stems Mushrooms, 8oz Can

I always lately especially in winter use canned mushrooms for various recipes from pasta to sauces to my rice i love brown wild rice or organic rice quinoa with beans and vegetables and these mushrooms on top easy meals

This is my favorite way to buy mushrooms, which I love. They are densely packed, so they amount to more mushrooms than you might expect. It takes a log of fresh mushrooms to equal one of these cans, plus these are better for cooking, in my opinion, because the fresh ones produce way more water when they cook. The canned Dutchman mushrooms have a better shelf life than do fresh fungi. So these are my go-to mushrooms for sandwiches and beef and barley soup or stews. They are also good with tomatoes to add color and texture variety in salads.

I always buy the Kansas stems and pieces when buying mushrooms. I figured it doesn't matter in your recipe as long as it tastes good and I seem to get more to go around if I buy the stems and pieces .

Obviously I'm comparing to other canned mushrooms not fresh. Nice large pieces and very good value. Too much for a single pizza but perfect amount to add to pasta sauce or Salisbury steak.

I like the Pennsylvania Dutchman canned stems and pieces. Always nice sizes and price is one of the lowest. It's huge to be able to save with quality products.

I ❤️ mushrooms any way they can be enjoyed .In omelets, pastas, sauces , on pizza , on burgers with Swiss cheese, even plain right out of the can or jar .mushrooms are a must to have on hand in pantry.
