I bought this sketchbook for my grandson and ended up ordering one for myself. Its the perfect size for travel, well made, and doesn't tear up easily.
Great little sketch journal. Nice paper, made well. Great if you're having a hospital stay or otherwise confined to bed.
This is a gift. My granddaughter loves to draw, she asked for a smaller one, I'm glad I saw this one. It is the perfect size, look so much better than the picture . I'm sure she'll be excited when I give it to her.
Good purchase!!
I've loved this line if sketchbooks since i found a smaller one that was half price; i swatched it with every fine liner, fude, and brush pen i own (Copic, Faber-Castell, Winsor and Newton, Uni, Derwent, Tombow, and Kuretake), plus my boyfriend's fountain pens, and experienced no bleed through or blotchiness. i use a VERY light wash of watercolour or ink on some of my sketches, and the paper wrinkles a bit, of course, but does not buckle. its slightly textured, so i can blend my gel crayons a bit, too, but so smooth my pens glide across it, and the paper weight is perfect for my use. i often use 2 page spreads, and i prefer a soft cover as it allows the book to lay close to flat, the band holds it closed and makes sure pages don't fly on a windy day, and i always find random things to lut in the little pocket at the back. the 3x4 is nice to slip in my pocket with a brush pen, 4x6 size is perfect to toss in my tote along with my pen bag for random sketch time, this 8x6 size is small enough to go with me, but big enough to ensure i have plenty of room for more finished sketching, and i use the 8x10 size to do sketch studies at home. i love these! please note that i don't use pencil, so i can't confirm, but heard it does not erase well. otherwise, perfect sketch book.
This is truly great. The paper is thick enough and works really nicely for journaling. There is no bleeding and very minimal ghosting only when going over the same spot a lot (with a fountain pen). I wish there was more options for the front cover color and a ribbon but honestly this is a steal for the quality you get.
Nice Cover. Very smooth paper. I like to draw on bumpier paper with pencils or colored pencils. This paper is good for ink or markers. It is definitely NOT for watercolor or collage. So I gave it to a friend who isn't so picky.
My only complaint is that it doesn't lay flat. Have to hold book open to write.
I received this free for my honest review. This paper in the journal was perfect for the calligraphy set. Looks nice and the paper it's self makes for a perfect calligraphy paper. It's small, easy to carry and will fit into a purse. I enjoyed testing this product.
I enjoyed writing with the Royal & Langnickel Keep N'Cary Calligraphy pens, however the set up to install the ink cartridges was a bit messy and it stained my fingers. The case was kind of generic, not made specifically for the set, but allowed your to secure the ink and pens behind the bands as long as you keep everything in the original packaging. I received the set for free in exchange for my honest review.
