Perfect Fitness Perfect Cooling Towel

My only critique is that it could be a little bigger. However, my husband's head is larger than most (lol). But he says it really helps. He works inside a freight warehouse that has little ventilation. He says it definitely helps to keep him cooler and never leaves for work without it.

Towel feels very much like a chamois, but that is about it. Once wet simply wring out the excess water. I use caution here because the material feels like I could twist it apart. I simply fold it into a large mass and remove as much of the water as I can without overdoing it. Towel feels instantly cooler and will last in excess of two hours on a very hot day. Because it works on evaporation the dryer the air is the better it works.

This is perfect for my twins! This spring has already been very warm, and especially warm while in the stroller. I lay it under them to keep them cool. They do get a little damp, but honestly, who cares? Its just water! For those who have said that it dries hard, it says that on the packaging... Roll it/fold it how you want to store it BEFORE it dries. If it dries before you are able to store it how you want, wet it down and fold/roll it. For those who have said that it gets moldy, well...duh. Its a piece of fabric that is constantly getting wet/dry. If you don't wash it regularly like the packaging says, it is going to mold. Just like any other piece of wet fabric out there. This really is a great cooling towel! I'm so glad I found this before it gets too hot!

I only paid five bucks for this thing, but I feel like it's worth twenty times as much. I don't know what magical material it's made of, but it actually does what it claims to do. The air is out at my office and has been for the past 4 days. This towel has really saved me in this southern July heat. I wet it, ring it out a bit and stick it in the mini fridge for a few minutes. When I take it out, it stays cool to the touch for a surprisingly long time. I knew cooling towels existed and never thought they actually worked, but I'm a believer now. Skip the expensive brands (rhymes with Sog Log), this brand works just the same at a fraction of the cost. If you spend a ton of time outside working, at ballgames, or doing lawn work in the heat, I highly recommend you get yourself a few of these. It isn't an air conditioner, but it certainly makes the heat more bearable.

I'm really amazed. For the price, I didn't really expect this to work. My husband works outside (in Florida sun) and I bought this for him. He hasn't had any problems with the towel. Also, we were both amazed that the towel is as big as it is. I watch TV ads for a similar product that is more than double the price I paid - so I'm really glad I bought this one.

This towel I found worked best when I knew I was going to use. I put my towel in water in the container that the towel came and put it in the freezer. The next day at the beach it was thawing out in the cooler and it served it's purpose of keeping me cool. When it needed to be refreshed I would stick it back in its container to rewet it with the cold water.

I was critical of this item because when it dries it is like a car chamois and is hard as a board - it will not fold and just needs to be stuffed into a storage area. So I purchased a more pricey item from Amazon - that one is very soft and dries as a soft cloth should. But for cooling effect, I like the Perfect Fitness item better. I wore around my neck while on vacation when we took walking tours in the hot weather. I had to re-wet it every 2 hours or so, but it left my shirt much drier than when wearing the more expensive cooling cloth. When it dries, it gets "crunchy" or hard on the edges so that tells you that you need to re-wet it. For the price, I think it was a good buy.

I wanted a lint free, quick dry towel to wipe the sweat off without staying "wet" and getting stinky. This is perfect. It's cool when you wet it but no cooler than wet bandana. However, it absorbs so much more liquid than a bandana, even when it is wet. It works perfect for what I need. If your looking for some miracle astronaut material that cools your body temp and keeps it cool "for hours" just by wettinig it, this ain't it. That'll cost you a lot more money. However, if you need a small, light weight towel, that's super soft, doesn't shed, and dries you even when it's wet, you can't beat this "Perfect" little towel. ("Little" is relative. It's bigger than a hand towel, and bigger than some of the other "cooling towels" I've seen.)

I love this towel. Its does everything its suppose to do. I wish it was a little longer because it has a nack for wanting to blow off your shoulder. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. P.S. It's great for hot flashes! LOL

I use this during breaks between training in Muay Thai/Muay Boran. Works great wish it was a little bit big but over all it is a great buy and the price is great also.
