Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant - 75150

I have used this sealant for years on most everything that needs to not leak. It bonds quickly and is easy to apply. I always carry an extra tube in my tool box.

Liked that it has a plastic applicator that screws onto the end of the tube. It is rather thick so you need a good size opening for the sealant to apply it with. It was easy to smooth out and I used painters tape to keep a clean edge on the rear car window seal area when I was done applying the sealant. It dried in 24 hrs and I might add a second coating in the future. The small plastic applicator is only usable for one application so my suggestions would be to have the product come with 2 or 3 plastic applicators. The bond appears good and much improved over the previous sealant.

I utilized this to seal a hole in my black side mirror arm where I ran the CB wire through, it is perfect and blends in like buttah!

The sealant is way too thick. Even with firm pressure, it was extremely difficult to squeeze out of the tube, and I couldn't even get the sealant halfway through the nozzle.

This item was delivered from the local store! Before ordering on-line I walked all over the store looking for it. Why couldn't I find it in the store?! I'm not happy. I paid a delivery fee.
