Pero Instant Original Natural Beverage 7 oz

I was disappointed when I could no longer drink coffee for medical reasons, and I tried several coffee substitutes. Of the ones I've tried, Pero is my favorite. It has a rich, warm aroma and taste, and with a little sweetener (I use stevia extract) and milk, it's delicious and satisfies that coffee desire. I prefer Pero hot (4 grams with 12 oz of water) with 1.5 oz of low fat milk. It's very tasty, and helps get the day off to a great start. Recommended.

In the early 1960s my father was stationed in Stuttgart, West Germany, it was there that I was introduced to 'Caro Kaffee' known as Pero in the United States. The recipe did not change nor did the flavour, it's a great way to have a late night hot drink, without caffeine.

I like this better than another grain beverage I was using. It tastes much more like actual coffee. I will still get the other for a more grain beverage taste when I need a change. I have to hydrate to help my kidneys, so water is my priority. I have a problem with coffee anyway because of acid reflux. I drink acid free and decaf coffee now and then and I am glad I found Pero since acid free decaf is becoming scarce.

Have loved and used this beverage for years. Smooth taste No caffine or acid to mess with your body. It is becoming harded to find, so I ordered it through Wal-mart on line. It is a little expenseve but you only use a teaspoon at a time so it will last quit a while

Best caffeine free coffee alternative you'll get before we get into chemicals and supplements. The most natural replacement and best tasting replacement for decaf you'll find. Try adding cream and vanilla syrup, it's just as good as Starbucks (let's be real, did you expect caffeine free coffee to taste gourmet?) don't spill this, the mess is very very hard to clean

For vacation my daughter in law can only have certain stuff, but I tried it and basically it is not bad!!

we stopped coffee due to its harshness on our stomach which was contributing to silent reflux. pero satisfies like coffe with full body and great flavor. wonderful product.

love this.. cannot have caffeine and this works as a substitute for the coffee that I love. it's not coffee, but it's great if you have to have a replacement.

I can't recall if I had already discovered by the time I ordered this that I can't abide the taste of chicory. I can definitely taste it in this. Seemed to dissolve ok. isn't JUST chicory, so YMMV.

the overall taste okay for a substitute for coffee. I will purchase this product again. this product's container is large for 7 oz it's bigger than a normal 8oz container of instant coffee. at least with an 8 oz instant coffee the coffee is filled all the way to the top this product was filled halfway. I feel like I was paying for a big container for half the product and it didn't seem right. I poured the product that was in this container and an old coffee container that was 3 oz and it filled it all the way to the top this product is powdery it's not granulized. I do not feel I received 7 oz of product that I was supposedly paying for instead I paid for a container that was twice the size of the product that was inside.
