Great shadow that stays on all day. A perfect addition to my daily routine. I wish I had tried it sooner. It's too early to say whether it will improve my skin tone around my eyes but at the age of 73 I appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you, Joan
This is a great product! It smooths out the redness and discoloration in my eyelids and brighten my eye area without caking or creasing. Sometimes I do indeed wear only this as my eyeshadow, but it also plays well with other eye shadow products. Stays on all day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this shadow! Perfect nude color. Works beautifully as a primer or it stands alone for no makeup days. It does crease a little by the end of the day, but I have oily eyelids so everything does. Doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes either. Good stuff!
I've used the no makeup eyeshadow for years. It works great when I just want a little makeup on because it looks very natural but I also use it as an eyeshadow base before I apply other eyeshadow when I'm going for a more glam look, lol. I think it helps as a primer to keep other shadows in place. It goes on easily and stays on all day! I love it!
As an older woman, I struggle with many eye shadows because my eyelids have become thin with some droop. Once I discovered this eyeshadow, I use it pretty much exclusively, in various shades. It goes on easily, and is nicely subtle.
This was my first time using an eyeshadow in cream form and I love it. I had always been hesitant because I've seen and heard friends and family members complain about cream shadows riding into the eye lid creases, smudging, and becoming a mess. Nonetheless, because I've not been disappointed with Perricone products that I've used so far, I ordered shade 4 and I am happy I did. First, the shade is perfect to give your eyes depth and contrast with your skin and eye color. It glides on smoothly: I just put 3 to 4 spots with the applicator tip on each eyelid and then blend it in gently to the shape that I like. It does not run, it does not dry powdery, it just stays put and looks very natural. It lasts all day without smudging and it removes easily with non-oily makeup remover water. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it has not caused dryness or irritation to the eye area, which is something I have experienced with other high-end cosmetics brands. AND, whatever is left on my fingers after blending, I use to contour my chin line or whatever I need contouring. I am very pleased.
This is a lovely eye shadow primer/base. And very nice to use on a no-makeup day. Shade 2 is a better match for my skin, but this will be good for the summer when I have more color.
I have oily skin and even with a light application, this eyeshadow still creases after only 3 hours. I'm a minimalist with makeup and do not want to purchase separate primer. The only eyeshadow that seems to not crease on me is Clinique High Impact. I think the color does enhance my dark brown eyes and this may work well on someone with non oily skin. It does seem to be a high quality product.
I find it to be messy and it looks chalky. I've applied it exactly as directed. I found inexpensive neutral cream eyeshadow that I'm using instead. I'm not returning it because of the hassle factor.
I used this product today and immediately knew that I couldn't use it ever again. It burned and itched my eyes immediately. I do wear contacts, but wasn't expecting this. Guess I will go back to using my L'ancome Macqui Complete concealer as a primer again. The concealer actually has more coverage than this as well. Great idea but product disappointed me.
