Best incubator an I’m an expert

Megan December 22, 2025

I’ve used 3 other types of incubators as I have went through stages of breeding chicken and quail. So far this is the easiest to use, best value for your money and doesn’t take up tons of space. The candling light is the brightest I’ve used! I was very surprised because I always made my own with a very strong flash light and toilet paper roll. I can even candle with lights on! This has every feature you need for incubating: auto turns, humidity control with bottles so don’t need to put the water in yourself and the candling light attached at the top! All good and the digital functions are amazing! Now, since I have not used an incubator since the beginning of 2024 I am just doing a practice fun with the eggs from my fridge and I do have to say it’s like riding a bike. But before I use 100% known fertile eggs I wanted to practice my tracing the air sack, remembering what I write on the egg and my whole system that was successful. Funny enough obviously you can eat fertile eggs so I do have a couple fertile ones growing in the egg. My eggs are only on day 6 but so far so good! I highly recommend this! Coming from a girl who had her incubators running for a year straight get this one!

Day 6 and so far so good!!

Amber April 7, 2026

On Day 6 of hatching Peking duck eggs! So far so good!! I just checked them last night and only 3 of 18 are not progressing...likely not fertile eggs since the rest are doing fantastic :) The light is a great for candling the eggs easily. I love that the 18 egg tray insert has big enough holes to hold duck eggs, that way I can hatch more at a time. The other tray has really big holes and will only hold 8 eggs at a time. It would be fine to use for duck eggs or larger (geese?), but I like to get the most hatched each time I run my incubator. My only complaint is that you can only control the humidity by adding/removing the 2nd water bottle or adjusting the vent on the top...however the vent will not fully shut, it always has a little opening. I'm sure that is because you don't want the moisture to build up and get perspiration on the inside walls. I have resorted to temporarily putting a qtip in the small hole if I see the humidity drop, because it hasn't dropped enough to add the second bottle. Currently the eggs require 50-60% humidity and it is usually sitting at around 49%. Doesn't seem to be bad since the eggs are doing fantastic, but it is the only thing I feel like I need to babysit with the incubator (but I noticed many other brands were even harder to monitor this on. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a well priced, good quality and easy to run egg incubator.

Great for TableTop

Justina October 5, 2025

Great for a table top incubator. I have successfully hatched 3 sets of quail eggs with this incubator. it can be tricky with the humidity. Use only the B slot for lock down. Use a sponge and a little water in A during the first 14 days.

Warning! Not for dry hatching! *BEEP BEEP BEEP*

Berry August 7, 2025

Attempted dry hatching because I live in a humid state, but the dang thing keeps beeping any time it gets below 40% humidity with no way to shut it off. At all hours of the day and night *BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP* until you're ready to hit it with a bat or throw it out the window. And there is absolutely NO WAY to adjust the humidity setting, or turn it off, or unscrew it and take it apart to disable the infernal alarm. It made me want to go on a little bit of a killing spree.

Don’t waste your money

Heather April 28, 2026

It’s junk HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND‼️ so first round we had 7 eggs only one hatched so we decided to try again and and this time we filled it full so 18 eggs and on day 4 it stoped working its the cord I do believe because it’s like the light on the box keeps flashing witch is causing the incubator to not work do to it not having constant power.

Heating element went out, wrong humidity reading

Katherine April 1, 2026

Humility reading has always been low. So I’ve had to buy a secondary hygrometer. I just bought this a month ago. First batch was great. I’m on my second batch of eggs and my heating element just went out!! Thank god the alarm works to let me know I needed to change incubators to save my chicks! But, not everyone has that ability. Over all I DO NOT recommend.

Came without the small gear that make the eggs turn. But Walmart was great to deal with . All i had to do was return to local store. Thank you Walmart

Not worth it!

Wendy March 3, 2026

Keeping temperature wasn't a problem, it was trying to keep the humidity up. I have to keep a towel over it, and the water bottles do not drain on their own so you have to go in there daily to lift the bottles and give a squeeze. I'm on my second use of the machine with the duck eggs on day 28 and the plug provided has stopped working. Now I'm stuck hoping that it sitting between two space heaters will keep them warm until I can find another incubator. This machine is not worth the money or headache. I totally give thumbs down on it.
