Pet Naturals L-Lysine Chews for Cats, Chicken, 60 Count

Years ago my vet told me how important L-Lysine was for a cat's health. Due to this, when I buy cat food I look for L-Lysine to be in the list of ingredients. Feeding my kitties Pet Naturals chews makes this task much easier. My 4 kitties are more than happy to crunch up their chews. I feel happy knowing that I'm doing the best that I can to keep my kitties healthy.

I take in many foster kittens who are prone to respiratory infections. I also have a rescue cat who is very picky about her treats. I bought this product to hopefully prevent her from being infected with the occasional illness that sometimes comes into our home. She's been sick a time or two over the years even though she is separated from the kittens. So far, so good. My cat gulped down the treat and had no idea I was slipping her some immunity support. I would definitely purchase this product again.

The smell of these is really intense when you first open the bag. I took one to my cat and she immediately went for it and started licking it but dropped it and walked away. She is super picky about her treats and food and coincidentally resembles the cat on the packaging. I picked it up and broke it up in smaller pieces for her and she ate it up so fast after that and was even licking my fingers. Clearly she loves the taste and if they help her from getting sick, it's a win win

Always on the look out for treats that have at least some health benefits. Cat's are funny, one will gladly eat these, the other turns her nose up and walks away. That's okay, easily broken up and hidden in her food. She'll be healthy or else! I only allow them one a day, which makes this a one month supply. Overall, a reasonable buy.

My cats loved these treats. They're good for their immune health and they taste delicious. They're filled with wholesome ingredients and not additives that aren't good for them. These L-lysine treats are a nutritional option for my cats and I will be purchasing again soon!

Popped this bag open immediately for my little girl with allergies. I tried to start with just 1 but she loved them so much I gave her 1 more. For the price I would stick to 1 a day if your kitty is helped by 1 vs 2 chews a day, then this bag could last you 2 months! but if your kitty is in need of 2 this bag will only last a month. I think the quality of ingredients are better than most! nice to see no corn or wheat gluten, though there are a handful of mid ingredients, we take what we can get and I'm hopeful this will be a great addition to her arsenal of allergy prevention supplements!

I purchased the Pet Naturals L-Lysine supplement for my cat to help support her immune health. The soft chews are a convenient size, and I appreciate that they come in a chicken liver flavor, which my cat typically enjoys. However, she was a bit hesitant to eat them at first, so I had to break them up and mix them with her food. After a few weeks of use, I noticed some improvement in her overall well-being, especially with her occasional sneezing. The packaging is resealable, which helps keep the chews fresh. I do wish the texture was a bit softer. Overall, this is a good supplement, but picky cats might take some time to adjust to the taste.

This is the first time I have tried these support chews. I was looking for something to help support my older cat's health and keep my younger cats' healthy. Chicken liver isn't a flavor I would want but I thought my cats might enjoy it. Unfortunately that was not true. I have 4 cats total and they licked them and sniffed at them but after the sound of the treat bag went away the cats showed no interest in the treats pretty much at all. I gave each cat one treat and none would take it from my hand. I had to place on the ground in front of them. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend these based on my cats' disinterest even if they are incredibly healthy and helpful to my cats.

As it turns out, the veterianian groups that speak on such matters revised their opinion about using this product for respiratory issues in cats. It has been learned it can actually make them worse according to the lastest information on the issue. These would not have helped my pet.
