I have an Australian Shepherd, 2 long hair cats and a Chihuahua. Although my Chihuahua doesn't have long hair he enjoys getting in on the grooming because he's seems to enjoy the feeling of the tool, it's like a massage to him. I would definitely recommend this product!! It's absolutely amazing how much hair I'm able to groom out and it's so easy and doesn't scare or hurt my babies in any way. If you have long hair pets definitely give this a try, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed! Wish I had found it sooner.

Works great! My elderly cat has a lot of mats. I was able to remove about half, so far and he was comfortable with the procedure. I highly recommend.

Well made works great. Just watch how deep you go into your cat or dogs hair. Just brush slowly and carefully watch your pets skin. It really works great.

this works great! i have several ferrel cats in my neighborhood i have befriended one hes a beautiful yellow tabby. His hair was horribly matted I was able to get all the matts out. He is so much happier now!

Didn't work on my cat's mats. It did remove a lot of hair, but not mats.

I bought this dematting tool for my cat, and I found it difficult to use. The teeth aren't very sharp, making it hard to get through her fur without pulling. She's usually patient, but she didn't enjoy the experience at all. I think this tool might work better for dogs or animals with less dense fur. I'll be looking for another option for my grooming routine.
