Works within 30 minutes. Remember it only works on existing adults fleas. I usually treat with drops the next day. I will retreat if they get reinfested from outside.
I split a tablet between my cat and my miniature dachshund every 3 or 4 days if I see them scratch and we are flea free for the most part!
Worked great for getting my boys flea free. Cheaper yet works effectively.
This product worked great on my cat, mix the pill with food, no problem. He stopped scratching in about 30 mins after taking the pill.
Works great but has no competition and is way overpriced. I'm getting sick of the animal medical people. They're so overpriced that it's costing upwards of 200 bucks a month just to be able to have a pet. Walmart does try to offer good products at a decent price. This is a good review for Walmart. Bad review for vets everywhere.
I brought this product because my vet refused to give me a prescription for another brand of oral flea treatment. I also had previously tried another similar over the counter brand which did not do the job, and it seemed to make one of my cats anxious. I do not want to jinx it, but Capaction seems to be working and I have not seen any peculiar side effects or rashes. Fingers crossed. My only con is that I wish there were more pills in the package. Otherwise, I would recommend this one over the other similar product.
My pet has only taken 1 pill and will take 2nd one on 6/9. No itching and haven't seen any fleas or ticks. She's an indoor dog so hopefully these pills will keep my baby girl free from bugs.
I use this every year on my pets but this year confused me, the artwork changed on the front to depict only a small dog making me think it wasn't for cats anymore until i thoroughly read the back of the package to realize the product is still for cats and dogs. Average product/bad picture change.
I gotnthis gor my 2 snall fur babies. I've given tnem the pills an i haven't noticed any dead fleas period. To me, this was a waste of my money. They still scratch alot an I'm not happy at all with the purchase
I gave my chihuahuas more than one dose like they said you could after 24 hours, but the fleas never left so they were never "reinfested" , It's suppose to work on dogs 2-25lbs., mine are are 4 to 6 lbs.
