I have not had this long enough to say how well these canisters keep produce, but they seem well made and are the perfect size for my counter space. Having these presents a much tidier appearance than the open bowls I previously used.

These were just a perfect size for what I needed! They look great, came packaged very well and fit just right in my space and my decorating style! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Not only is it decorative, it is funcyional. i love it ! Now i have a goid way to store potatoes and onions !
Surprisingly roomy and very attractive
The item is attractive. The tin is thin so I wouldn't recommend carrying the containers by the handles when full; provide support to the bottom instead. I saw other reviews complain that they are too small, which they may be for a large family, but I was able to fit 4 large russet potatoes, 2 average-large sweet potatoes, and 4-6 small-medium yellow potatoes in the potato tin which is adequate for my 2 person household. One of the sweet potatoes did spoil after a month in the tin on the counter top, but I keep my house warm %26 have encountered this before. I had lined the bottom with a 4 layer folded paper towel as a precaution, so clean-up wasn't difficult. The handles on the wooden lids are recessed %26 I thought they may give my arthritic hands a problem, but there is no gasket, so the lids can be removed easily by lifting the edges of the lid. My only major complaint was that the garlic tin arrived without its lid. I had seen 1-2 other reviewers reported encountering this issue. I sent a message to the seller requesting a replacement, but I never received a reply. I don't want the hassle of returning the entire set, so I will purchase another garlic holder %26 toss the useless, unlidded tin.
Both handles were broken when taken out of package. Do not recommend
Can't place the potatoes or onions that I buy in these containers. If i could i would recommend and more stars would be applied.
