Solid construction. I assembled up my new cat scratcher. It is extremely sturdy and has sisal fabric instead of sisal rope wrapped around. The fabric is higher quality construction. Most importantly, my cat likes it and is using it instead of going after my chairs. YES!
It is perfect 👌 I have several of these scratch posts .All of my cats love this scratch post
Lots of stress in the house due to construction. Cat started scratching furniture in the middle of the night. Brought this in and "decorated" it with treats when I went to bed! Score! He loves it. He is 14-15 lbs and stretches up to scratch. Tower is sturdy-large base.
Great scratching pole, my cat loves it. The base could be a little more heavier. It always seems to tip over every time my cat uses it
This scratching post is nice. The only problem is that it is too small for my cats. They use it but pull it over. It might be helpful is the info on the website said it was for small cats
My cats are using the scratchy post but not 100% frequently I feel like they're a little bit picky when it comes to the texture because they are used to the rope type wrap scratchy posts, I would say they use the scratchy post 97% of the time and the other 3% of the time it's still my furniture lol
Base is smaller than it needs to be to keep the scratcher steady with vigorous use from the cats, wabbles and falls easily.
Seems like it should be taller. The base is way too light. It has fallen over twice and now 1 cat is afraid of it.
Honestly I'm not going to lie I loved it but I honestly wished it was taller. I also wish that when it got loose it wouldn't break apart slowly when trying to screw it bc as time when on the tower looked like the leaning tower of pizazz bc I kept screwing it in to tighten it up but yeah no that made it worse
As most people have noted this is a very narrow/smallish scratcher. I have one smaller cat and two fatties. The smaller one really likes it which is good because she's less likely to tear it up… until her fat siblings decided to start using it. My boy cat is really strong and has already started pulling it apart after only a few times of playing with it. They are hard on scratching posts so I'm not surprised but was hoping this would last a little longer at least, than it has. It's definitely not really suited towards bigger cats and/or those who play rough. Probably great for a kitten or very small adult cat.
