This is a very fair price the product, one bag lasts several weeks for me. We have one rabbit and I use it for her litter box (for the base and to top it off daily, then change the box as needed). It does an excellent job of odor control.
I love the paper pellets. They obsorbe well and dont clump up. Very easy to clean up. I have used paper pellets for ferrets in the past as well and works great!
I tried so many paper litters and my cat was very picky kicked it out of the box. The last one I returned as it was so hard it would not absorbe. Then searching on line, I saw this one, tried it, was absolutely the best. I immediately purchased five bags, and the price was considerably less than others. Try it, I know you and your cat will love it too.
Our cat could not use regular litter and would not use shredded paper. The paper pellets were suggested and our cat accepted them! Paper pellets hard to find so we greatly appreciated they were available through Walmart, thanks!
Much better than shredded newspaper or recycled cardboard. Extremely absorbent but they don't swell up and fall apart. Absorbs odors quite well also.
Love these way less messier than pine !!
Definitely works as expected- I had to get for my pet while she was in a cast, because the regular clay litter clumped to the cast. This worked really well, but because it doesn't clump, it does get smelly as soon as it's used. Not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind!
There are some ccons and pros about the product. cons 1- The product isn't soft,it's as the equivalent of pouring rabbit food pellets and having your small pet lay or go to the bathroom on them. 2-There's barely enough to cover a large cage. 3-It keeps the odor down when it comes to rats, mice, hamsters, and gerbils. (Not recommended for Guina pigs,Rabbits, and Chinchillas as they Urinite a lot more, and paper will not get rid of a larger animal's odor). Pros 1-Works best if bedding is mixed with the shredded paper, all natural bedding, or if you have a small to medium cage. 2-Less dusty compared to the Kaytee brand bedding. 3-Does the job,if you don't use it for bigger rodents(Guina Pigs,Rabbits, and Chinchillas).
I've used this brand in the past when I've run out of another product I prefer(and is much more cost efficient), but this time I've noticed a somewhat musty odor in the pellets. Not terribly cost efficient either. Going back to my regular brand. Will just have to pay the delivery fee🤨
Did absolutely nothing to reduce odors. I changed the litter the exact same time as I did before. I wouldn't buy again
