Pet's Pick Cedar Bedding, 2.0 cu ft

I use this cedar for my dogs houses. One bag in the fall does three medium size dog houses. In the winter I put more, so than one bag does two houses. This is really good cedar for that use. I am very glad this could be delivered, as I buy six at a time. I would recommend anyone with an outside dog to buy this to keep them warm and dry.

My dogs like to lay under trees in the backyard and have worn away all the grass. This product works perfectly to give them a clean space to lay while keeping away ticks, fleas, midges and even flies. Eventually the product will break down but that's a bonus. And it's so easy to refresh. It worked so well in one of the 3 spots they frequent that I'll continue to buy and use this product in the other 2 spots. The home shipping was terrific, too. Just wish I could purchase more than 6 bags at a time.

I was unable to find it this time at my local Walmart, so I ordered it online. It's a little bit of a haul to my Walmart, so I hate to come back without what I went for. Same product is more expensive at Kmart, so it's worth the trip to pick up a few bags. Same price online as in the store. Shipping was as expected and free (after buying a few bags and adding other items to my cart to total $50) and all items came well boxed. As for the bedding itself, I have tried the other types of plain wood chips, confetti style and others, I can say that this ones natural cedar aroma really helps with the odors for my guinea pigs. Very large bag for about $7 and very economical. Lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend it for any small to medium animal bedding. I HATE buying anything else. Very pleased with purchase.

A friend led me on to this and it took me much too long before trying it out. Now, I don't see myself ever going back to traditional litter...or should I say litters...there are just so many to choose from these days and I've spent a near fortune trying out most of them. This, by far, has been the most effective in terms of cleanliness and odor control (plus the cedar scent is nice, one bags lasts weeks ..even for multiple kitties.. and the very affordable price is even nicer).Word of advice: if your kitties are finicky about litter changes like mine, I recommend slowing introducing it to them, but soon they'll love it!

Bright color, excellent cedar scent. My dogs love it And it makes clean up in the potty area very easy! Keeps the back yard smelling fresh. Also repels biting insects while it helps retain moisture for the plants.

Ships in a large bag that has the compressed shavings in a smaller (2 cu ft) form. Once you open it and start to remove the shavings to pack into bedding it expands and becomes a lot more (5 cu ft.) This is great stuff and stops fleas immediately. They HATE cedar shavings. The smell is pleasant, and dogs and even cats like it. You're doing them a favor by making them bedding filled with cedar shavings.

This stuff is awesome and inexpensive. I'm using it as a ground cover around all of my raised beds. Love the smell, it's a great mulch, and amazing for restoring the ground to a healthy state. My hard, clay soil is unsuitable to grow anything directly into the ground. This will all change in a few years with the help of this stuff!!

I use this for rabbit bedding. I have tried the pine which the rabbit would kick out of the cage. I also tried the recycled shredded cardboard but it was inferior. Both the pine and cardboard also had odor issues. I like the Cedar Bedding, it works well. The rabbit will not kick it out. The bag is compressed, I don't need all of it at once. I change the rabbit cage weekly and the bag seems to last a long time.

Used for my Cockatoo named Kitten. He's a happy bird and it's smells like cedar in his space for a few days too.

I gradually switched from dusty cat litter to this and glad I did! Not only does it save money, it smells great and is lightweight. EVERYTHING was dusty from the old litter and would clog my heater and vacuum. After cleaning the dust would return in a day or two. The only slight problem with this is when scooping it's hard to see the poo, but in a multicat household this stuff saves the day! I use an old plastic bowl to scoop it into a child's plastic swimming pool I use as a litter box! Less work! I'm happy and most of all, the kitties are, too!
