PetSafe Dog and Cat Screen Door, Small

The product is great. Instead to buy an entire window, I purchased this pet door. I read the previous reviews and the complaining about the little plastic advices. I inserted the window between my screen and screwed to the cat tunnel I purchased separately to make it stronger. I can open and close the window so I don’t need to close or open the cat door and avoid to use the plastic closure clips. I am very happy. Very convenient and money saving.

For the money, it's a good product. Flap shuts well. Easy to install. Read instructions. No more invading mosquitoes.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a way for my dog to go out on/in from my patio without needing me to open the screen door or leave it open. Now he can go in and out as he wants and I don't have to worry about insects or bats! I purchased the LARGE door for my 28 lbs pooch. Perfect fit. The small version would have been too small.

We recently purchased a doggie door for our sliding screen door. It works really great, very sturdy. Was extremely easy to install very happy with product now I don't have to get up every time they want to go out!!

I love it but my cat still open it even when I locket He is very smart so I hope there is a way to put more locks or something I dont kn

The screen door is well made of sturdy materials. It is necessary to put some form of backing material to keep the door in place. If the door is affixed to the screen only, one false move and the dog will tear it out. I mounted a wire scratch proof mesh across the lower half of the screen door, and fastened the pet door to the mesh, after making a cutout. Works swimmingly. My first one lasted for several years this way.

Seems a little wobbly in the screen door and my Golden Retriver is still a little shy using it after a week of use

Didnt use to small for a dog I have 2 French bulldogs they didn’t fit

Unlike the smaller versions of this pet door (which we loved!), the large version is flimsy and flawed. The two frame halves do not actually “seat” or interlock together. They meet edge-to-edge without engaging properly. Only the screws are holding the door in place, and the locking mechanism can't engage. Worst of all, I went to the trouble of contacting Petsafe support--the agent wasn't interested in helping isolate or fix the problem. Waste of time and money.

absolute garbage, it broke before i even had it completely installed. Will be returning. The plastic is very flimsy.
