PetSafe Rechargeable In-Ground Fence Receiver Collar for Cats & Dogs, Waterproof, Tone & Static

We had three cats that are indoor/outdoor. About two weeks ago, one got onto the road and was hit and killed. My kids and I cried so hard because our fur babies are family to us. So, I bought two of these collars and cut the straps and singed the edges so that they wouldnt fray. They work! Our two cats arent thrilled of course but it keeps them safe on the property and this collar works with our already existing underground fence with have for our two dogs. The levels are adjustable so and I take them off when the cats are inside and put them back on before they go out.

Once it is set up the collar keeps our dogs off the road where we previously have had several dogs killed. Is easy to set up. We do not use the collar provided as the dogs will keep working until they get it to unsnap and the expensive shocking devise is lost somewhere, probably a swamp or in our pasture. We purchase a sturdy collar with a buckle and my husband attaches the shocking mechanism to this collar. Once the dog is trained not to cross from our driveway to the road, we will remove the collar until we see them straying onto the road again. I give the product five stars since it has kept our dogs alive. Would rate the provided collar at a 1-2.

Works well with my SportDog transmitter. Is small and compact for use in pup's first year while he is small but growing toward the larger SportDog receiver. Charges well. Shocks well—:)

Collar works very well when matched with an underground fence. We have two dogs with these collars on and they never challenge the barrier. Learning curve is quick and easy.

I added a second collar to my PETSAFE inground containment system, As, soon as the collar was charged, the collar paired with current system and working perfectly.

Works well for our 2 cats. The collars are extra long and can be trimmed to length. They are more compact and lighter than the old battery powered ones. They hold a charge all day, no problem.

I started with Innotech in the 90's, then PetSafe purchased them. I have been happy with both companies. The collars can last a lifetime. I did just had one fail that originally belonged to a previous pet who passed. Our 4-month-old Ridgeback is a terror, and she tugged our Airedales collar and broke the receiver.

Bought a rechargeable small dog collar a month ago. Shopping was easy and fast delivery. Very happy with performance and purchase

The collars work fine physically. But the on off button tends to be poorly made. I have 7 dogs and 4 of the 7 buttons are sinking in sideways. I dont have fingernails so im not pushing to hard on them.

We only had the for less then a week and the plug to protect the charging prongs broke off. Not very durable.
