PetSafe SSSCAT Automatic Spray Pet Deterrent, Motion-Activated Repellent for Cats and Dogs

This is a safe and effective product to keep my cats from jumping up on my plant table. I'm getting ready to order two more!

Effective and not overly sensitive. Placed near the Christmas tree to keep the pup away from the tree sap. Works great!!

I've tried several things to keep my kitten off the center island in my kitchen where the stovetop is located: repeatedly putting him down on the floor or onto a near by tree, double sided sticky tape, and carpet protectors with the pointy side up. Nothing worked....he's very determined to do what he wants! Then I heard about Ssscat spray deterrents. I set two of them up on the island facing in different directions.....it's a pretty big island. He set them off twice and hasn't tried to get on the counter again.......it's been about a week since he tried the second time. I'm still keeping them set up because he's only 5 months old and still rather reckless with his behavior.......I want to be sure if he tries again he will continue to be deterred until he really gives it up. Now if I can just get my husband to stop setting them off I'll be all set!!

My cat was driving me crazy coming into my room at night and waking me up to be let outside even tho he had already been out multiple times during the day. Since I prefer that he stay in at night, I keep him inside. Now I shut my bedroom door and he doesn't come anywhere near it. SSSCAT does exactly what it says keeps your cat away !

One of my cats has frequent 'cranky toddler' moods—stomping all over me, sitting on the dressers and meowing, knocking stuff over—and sometimes these moods fall in the middle of the night. The Ssscat Spray is the only reliable way to keep her out of the room so I can sleep without interruption. We've had one of these for years, but recently had to replace it as a plastic bit inside had come loose after dropping it one too many times. Absolutely worth the money!

I had high hopes for this, but set it up. The first time our cat jumped up, scared him a little bit then he jumped up again we went off. He just looked at it. Now when he jumps up, I guess he thinks it's funny he takes his PAUL just keeps making it go off so for us it didn't work.

It works just fine, but it also works on humans. I was wondering about this part, whether it wouldn't also sense humans and spray us, and yes, indeed it does.

Will not activate immediately when there's motion. It's delayed.

This sprays a gas that is not great for people. Why they want you to put this on your counter is beyond me.
