the interior is smaller than I thought. The small escape hatch is too heavy and needs a outward handle and a way to prop open for trying purposes. very sturdy and attractive. Especially like the roof. And that it can be used as an additional perch. The hinge that opens the top is fairly sturdy.

The cat box was a little difficult to put together. Some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up. My husband had to drill new ones. Once put together overall, it is a perfect size for one adult cat. It is not warm on its own. You must provide your own heating pad if you need a heat source inside.

"Insulated" walls are thinner than I had hoped. I put two blankets ontop mine to make sure it stays warm. it does. Every day I put my hand in to test the temp inside and it is barely cold within. takes 2 pple to assemble. You should have a drill. my outdoor cat sleeps in it every day. he is fine. he likes it.

IT WAS VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER BY ONE PERSON. I ORDERED TWO HOUSES. THE CATS DO NOT LIKE THE EXIT DOOR. SO, I TOOK IT OFF AND REPLACED IT WITH REPLACEMENT DOOR PLACTIC THAT I ORDERED FROM WALMART. I NEEDED TO PUT THEM IN MY FRONT FLOWER BED, SO MY DOG CAN RUN IN THE BACK YARD WHEN HE WANTS. THE FLOWER BED HAS A TALL BRICK WALL AROUND IT WITH SMALL TREES AND SHRUBS SO YOU CAN NOT SEE THEM FROM THE ROAD. I NEEDED TO PAINT THEM A DARK COLOR. THEY ARE REALLY CUTE LIKE THEY WERE, BUT CATS DO NOT CARE WHAT COLOR THEY ARE AND I JUST WANTED TO HIDE THEM. THEY ARE INSULATED, BUT I ADDED STRAW AND A SELF-WARMIN BED.

This seems nice and looks good but found a few things others should know. The plastic strips that is front “door” none of cats like and won't go through it. Installed using screw holes but the hard plastic catches so I trimmed shorter but they still don't want to use it, not even giving treats to get inside. Had to tie them together and out of way to get using. Can't put any cloth or anything for laying on otherwise plastic front and back door won't open. Wish deeper or made so they cyan lay on “something” Otherwise seems okay but if I hadn't gotten good price I wouldn't have bitten since so expensive

This house is WAY too small. It's a decent size for an adult cat to curl up in, but not if you add anything else such as a food or water bowl or even enough straw to insulate. The escape door is ridiculous and not nearly big enough for any adult cat to escape from quickly. I've had countless cat fights from cats getting startled and stuck, and now none of the cats will go near it. It's cute, decent quality, but useless.

It claims to be " Insulated," but it is just slats of wood. I had fun building it myself, and they shipped it with 100% care with the packaging. But when you label something as "insulated," I'm expecting the walls to be lined with some self heat regulating padding or an insert that goes inside. The stray cats will sit on top of the roof but none of them like the hard plastic flap of the door.

I was excited to purchase this to put outside for strays, but the quality was very poor so I ended up returning it. The parts all had a strong chemical odor that I find hard to believe would be safe, and a few parts were shedding a gritty/sandy substance everywhere. Great idea, but poorly built for the price.

This house looks nice and was easy to assemble but it was much smaller than expected. Description said it would hold up to two cats and that doesn't seem possible. Our 2 cats are small but wouldn't fit comfortably and do not like it. It looks more like it would nicely fit 2 rabbits. Expected more for the price I paid.

terrible smell days later, drill holes not drilled, split wood , wood that was coming off, sloppy paint job, took more than 45 minutes to put together, cat refuses to go inside, a waster of hard earned money, would never buy if I knew and I cannot recommend this to anyone
