PETSCOSSET Wooden Chicken Coop for 2-3 Chickens, Chicken Tractor with Nesting Box, Pull-Out Tray, Asphalt Roof, Gray

This is a nice coop but it’s only good for two full sized chickens. I had two banties (small) and a gray bar (full sized) and it was a little crowded but okay. Once I changed to 3 full sized and the small banty rooster it was way too crowded. I upsized but will save this for young chickens. It’s well made and looks nice!

Built this coop in two hours with help from my kids. The only thing that would’ve made it easier if I had a drill, but you can still screw everything in my hand. I do recommend adding additional child safety hook loops, hardware cloth around the bottom, and no dig stakes to prevent raccoons/neighboring dogs from trying to open.

Coop came quickly. Pretty heavy box. The wood definitely has an odor as it states. It’s about 4 feet. Not the easiest to put together, instructions are vague and the directionality of the wood. You will need a drill!!!! With 2 people it took over 2 hours to put together! Wood does split and some screws don’t go all the way in. It seems ok for now we will see how durable it is.

You say your product holds 6-8 chickens.. but this can only hold 4 chickens!!! 2 nesting boxes, enough roosting spots for 4 chickens. Not sure mouth space for 7 chickens to roam in this coop! I had to buy another coop to aid in the housing of these chickens!! Then the coop was 4 days late!

Quality is cheap, wood split when putting ot together

The box was damaged and when we opened it the roof had a hole in it so we could not put our chicks in it will be returning it

We ordered a 71"; coop. We got a 65" coop not really big enough for 4 chickens. Smaller guage wire than necessary for saftey of chickens. Will have to add second layer of wire over entire coopq.
