Haven't used yet. Bought for walking in heat--so I won't get sick.
This is a really great towel. I use it when I work out. It is very absorbent. It is really soft too. It reminds me a lot of the towels you can buy to dry cars, but thicker and softer. I really like it! Make sure you listen to the directions and store it while damp.
My husband loves using this sports cooling towel around his neck all summer when he's working outdoors or golfing. He swears by it! All that is needed to activate its cooling properties is to wet it and give it a snap in the air, then place it around your shoulders/neck for the magic to begin. I tried to use it but couldn't get used to it touching my neck and getting my hair wet, plus I barely do yard work. I do plan to pack one of these for future beach trips. I would think it would be good for anyone who has to work outside in the heat. It truly does cool down your whole body. After use, it only needs to be rinsed out, then left to dry, and stored back in its tube. This is a great invention for people who hate to be hot, especially down here in south Georgia.
Awesome best invention ever. Extra absorbing easy to use feels and looks awesome perfect for every golfer a must have I use it every time I’m out there in the heat and works like a charm best invention in extra absorbing material could not make it any better
I use this to wipe down the dew on my car in the mornings! It is very absorbent and works well for this purpose. I’m sure it would make a great towel for golfers, as well. I rinse it out when it gets dirty and roll it up damp to store back in the plastic case it came in. It’s a nice large size. I recommend it!
This PGA Extra Absorbent Towel works great to clean my golfing gear such as golf balls and golf clubs. It's very sturdy and lightweight. I like the texture especially when it's wet. It needs to stay a bit damp so it doesn't dry out so I wring out as much water as I can and then roll it up and bend it to fit in the plastic storage case it comes in. Overall a nice towel to have on hand for golfing.
The PGA Extra Absorbent Towel is awesome. It reminds me of the Shammy Towel, but this one is made for humans instead of cars. The towel is 17"x26" which is around the size of your typical gym towel. This is a great workout towel. It quickly absorbs my sweat without being rough on my skin (I have sensitive skin on my face). I also like that it has a cooling feature where it become cool to the touch. After my workout, I'll leave the towel around my neck to help regulate my body temperature. The only thing I don't like about this towel is that you have to keep it damp when you store it. If you don't use it regularly, you might come back to a dried-up cardboard like towel. Since I work out at least 4 days a week, I haven't come across that issue.
I do find it odd for a towel to be in a container... Seems wasteful and unnecessary as many would throw away the outer case as it appears to be packaging but I see it as a reusable container. Towel is larger than expected but not a fan of the color. Texture is so weird, it's soft and felt like which is off putting for me but I can say this definitely does absorb. I only tried this with water. It is easy to rinse out and dry up too. Another concern is this doesn't seem like it will last that long as a couple of uses I can already see the materials low degrading.
This towel first off had a bad smell to it. The tactile surface didn't feel right, like it as too spongy and it bunched up too much when trying to use. I don't usually use these types of towels so maybe there is something I'm missing, but I would not buy again.
I wanted to love this. I’m always hot and hoped I’d use this towel often. But upon opening it I was instantly overwhelmed with the most awful smell. I even put it in the garage to “air out” a bit and still the smell is overwhelming. This is a miss. And a big one.
