Philips 24" Class HD (720p) Roku Smart LED HD TV (24PFL4764/F7)

We bought this for an upstairs bedroom one floor above the wifi router. Most importantly, it quickly found and captured the wifi signal. Setup was straightforward and quick. We had it up and running in 15 minutes. Good picture too. Tweenty-four inch Roku TV's are disappearing from the market. This is a good one.

I really like my new tv. The sound is great. It is taking me awhile to get used to not to have numbers on the remote (which I do prefer). Hopefully I will get used to it quickly.

So far, excellent. Just had this TV a few days. Was very easy to setup, using antenna, no cable, and of course WiFi. TV prompts you through everything. One hint, for local channels, need to put in your zip code, under settings, then when you scan for TV stations on Live TV , local news and programming was available.

The color is excellent, and the best besides picture quality , is that Phillips didn't give us those pointy little feet for a stand. Those can tip over easily. You get 2 flat feet that uses i screw and sits flat on surface. I got the screws in in less than 10 mins. It took that long due to me being on my knees and one gets very sore. If i decide to get a bigger TV, I will buy another Phillips. I will add it was delivered in a box that looked old or used.

Sound is horrible. The low tones and bass in movies sounds muddy and hard to hear, dialogue is not crisp. The only reason I did not return is I dont think I will get anything better out of a 24" TV and I dont want anything bigger. Picture is great. Easy to set up. For price it's pretty good. Just wish it had better audio. Also, only has HDMI and Digital audio out, so need an adapter and hdmi or digital audio cable if hooking to analog old school speakers. Soundbars are expensive, so you may want to look elsewhere if sound is of a concern.

I LOVE THE TVBUT COULD NOT GET THE SOUND TO WHERE I COULD HEAR IT.. I AM IN A VERY SMALL SPACE VERY NEAR THE TV AND HAD IT TURNED UP ALMOST TO THE HIGHEST NUMBER.. THEN THE SOUND WENT OUT ALL TOGETHER.. ONLY HAD IT A FEW DAYS?? WILL HAVE TO RETURN IT..

When I turn the tv on there is no sound. I have to go into settings/system/power/restart to restart the television. It's not as simple as turning it off then back on again - that doesn't work. So restarting it through the settings (at least once a day) works but that just indicates there is something wrong with it. I'll be returning this television.

I had high hopes for this TV but in a spot where my Roku Express box got "GOOD" wifi reception, this TV got a "POOR" signal from same router. Had to return as a result.

This TV has had significant internet connection issues from the first day. It reports an "excellent" signal strength, but then reports receiving <1 Mbps download speed which is continually causing it to disconnect from several streaming services. My system is putting out around 250 Mbps, and the TV is less than 20 feet from the Router. I don't have this problem with any other WiFi devices.

I like the size and picture quality along with being able to access various apps. However; as with other reviews, the sound is an issue. The sound stops working and it takes about an hour of resetting the sound feature and turning the tv on and off to make it work. It happens regularly if I use Netflix, Disney and other apps. After exiting the app and turning off the tv, the sound will not function the next time the tv is turned on and the hour session begins. Very frustrating!!
