My bedroom TV I had for years finally bit the dust. I was looking for a Roku ready TV & found this little beauty at Sam's at a great price! Love the sleep timer and that I can finally control the TV & Roku with one remote. The picture is great, but the sound quality could be better. Not going to complain for the price and where it's been used, but if this was going to be used as a main TV, it would def need a soundbar.
Got this Roku tv for our camper. After the updates and setup it works well for what we want it for. The updates and set up took about 15 minutes (slow wifi)
the perfect size. Beautiful bright colors. The roku options to save favorites, and all the free roku channel, always find something to watch. Great sound. Love the sleep option.
Plug this TV in and you're ready to go. Roku offers great options fast service and immediate out of the box viewing. Highly recommend this and Walmart shipped it super fast.
Good size TV for the price. Easy enough to set up but installing the support feet was a pain. The screws were too large for the holes and took some effort to get them in there without stripping. The feet are wobbly at best but serve their purpose. Otherwise, the TV has a crisp, sharp screen. Colors are vibrant. And sound quality is great. My father is very pleased with his new TV.
I bought this for a guest room. It has a great picture and is the right size for my needs. I do not have cable so there is antenna connected for watching local news. It receives many other channels through the ROKU which is great! My only complaint it is hard to navigate the screen options for viewing those local channels. I would recommend this for a person skilled in t.v. navigation.
Like there picture. Disappointed in the way TV channels have to be accessed. There is no way to ley the channel number for direct access.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tv does not show what program is on each channel. I can not get the cable cord that screws in the back to come out. I was hoping for a little more than what it can deliver. .
I ended up returning this television. No matter what settings I tried the picture was just too dark and the colors were not bright my 11-year-old 28" Vizio TV actually had a better picture. So I will keep trying to find the right bedroom TV. I do love the Roku integration it really worked quickly and was a breeze to set up on this TV. I just wish the picture would have been brighter and richer.
I knew the 1080p resolution wasn't going to be the best, but I was shocked by the dull, washed-out, colors. All color in every video and still screen looks like it has a translucent film over it. I'll play around with the video settings, but I shouldn't have to, to this degree, on a brand new TV. While I'm familiar with Roku streaming devices, this is my first, AND LAST, Roku TV. The ad-laden Home Screen is too much for me, and from what I hear, it's going to get worse with video and audio added to banner ads, and Roku ads invading your screen when you pause a movie played from your own DVD/Blu-Ray player. It's diabolical, and I will not support Roku any longer because of it. Mostly, I needed something cheap and simple for the guest room when my mum stays over. This will do because she's already familiar with Roku and has very low standards. I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it.
