Philips Avent Fast Baby Bottle Warmer with Smart Temperature Control and Automatic Shut-Off SCF358/00

This is the only bottle warmer I have used, so I don't have much to compare it to but I like that you can set the knob according to how many ounces are in the bottle. Also it stays on and warm for one hour.

I have to say, this bottler warmer completely won me over on design alone. It is SO esthetically pleasing - very sleek, smooth to the touch and unassuming on your counter. It's also incredibly lightweight and virtually soundless when on. The cord has the ability to be tucked and wrapped underneath the warmer to limit excess cord (and probably for storage) which I thought was amazing. I hate bulky cords on my counters and this design completely nailed it. In terms of usability, there is a nice click dial and easy to read icons for setting to the exact amount of ounces you're trying to warm. The sensor was pretty easy to interpret when the bottle was ready, though I was disappointed there was no audible alert (in case you were in a different room/trying to multitask). I had the chance to try both bottled milk and frozen breastmilk from storage and was so pleased with both reaching an accurate temperature for my particular 8 month old. I will say it's not the quickest warm, but is is practically soundless (no annoying timer sound). I did not get the chance to test out the food warmer function, but am very intrigued to see what it's like. The instructions were a bit vague on how much water you're supposed to add, but not a big deal overall. Such a neat product that I was so pleased to receive from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and try out. A keeper for sure with a lot of potential for being "more than just a bottle warmer"!

I never knew bottle warmers existed that have the capability to warm milk pouches and baby food as well as bottles. The instructions seemed overwhelming but the setup is pretty straight forward. You place the bottle, pouch or food container inside first and then fill with water. The settings allow you to select defrost, time based on oz or a food warming option. The cord can be coiled under the warmer so there's not extra cord hanging anywhere as a hazard. The warmer has worked well for bottles. We will soon try heating oatmeal but haven't yet. There's an auto shutoff feature that puts your mind at ease. I love that one appliance can be used for multiple tasks. It doesn't take up much counter space and can easily be put away when not in use. I received this product through the Stella Product Testing Panel.

The look of the bottle warmer is great. It is very sleek and the light is cool white. I appreciate the auto-off feature because we know how frequently we get distracted as moms. I found that it took a but longer to get the bottle to a temperature my baby likes. I wish the directions were little more thorough for helping with that. I like that it is has keep warm, defrost, and baby food features. It makes it more versatile. The opening is much larger also, to accommodate things such as baby bowls. The “countdown” light is a excellent feature for seeing, at a glance, when your bottle is ready. Thank you to the Stellar Panel for providing this product for me to review.

This is so terrible I can't believe it's on the market. It simply does not work. It's faster to just heat your milk under the faucet

Takes FOREVER to heat up a bottle. Wish I could return it. Takes longer than 8 minutes to heat a 3 oz bottle.

The first one we got worked for two weeks before it stopped heating properly. The replacement we got didn't even work the first time. We used this product when we were staying in the hospital with my newborn. For the price, I had hoped that it would be just as good of a product to have at home. I will be returning it and I will continue to use the much more reasonably priced bottle warmer I bought to replace this one. Do not waste your money.
