Philips Norelco Rechargeable Multi Groomer - Series 9000, MG7770/49

just got the shaver/trimmer in the mail this morning. Plenty of atachments and feels very well made. The other brand I had was 50% lighter and felt cheaper. This unit has some weight to it, feels good in the hand. So i charged it up to full, used it to trim my beard and around my ears to blend it in with the beard, and eyebrows to. Almost looks like the profesional cutters in the barbershop just a tad scaled down. But way better then the other brand i had.

Bought this today And let me tell you It gives one of the most amazing cuts/trims I've ever had. My wife buzz my hair and then cut my son's hair wow done in about minutes flat. Great value ....trust me I have ordered and returned many .......this is a great one and 5 yrs warranty ...buy it you wont regret it

The Multigroom 9000 is fantastic. I have used it approximately 7 times so far on one charge. It is still going strong. Customer service is great. When I received the shaver, one of the 2 mm guards had a bent tooth from factory. I called Philips and within 15 minutes, the rep stated that another one will be sent out. I received the new guard within 5 days. The attachments are well built. The only negative that I can say is that I wish the foil shaver was a little wider,it is only 3/4 in wide. For those of you out there that are wondering, (like I did), you can use the two of the attachments to clean up the sensitive area down south. The unit itself is very quiet and has a nice weight to it. The nose and ear attachment works great. There are so many attachments that I will never use half of them but I can see this satisfying a wide variety of customers with different needs. I am very pleased with this unit.

Its an amazing machine, you can use it to shave face, hair cut, trim beard, shave your back and trim chest hair. Excellent all around and eliminates the need for other machines. Travel with its own case and best of all waterproof and wireless too. Love it !

Its a good product and performs well however I would recommend most people get the 5000 or even 3000 series as the pieces are overkill and nobody would use all of them

The product is very good, I have not used all the accessories yet, but I could see that the accessory for the nose hairs is not very efficient, it leaves to be desired, it does not cut the hairs with ease. In the meantime he has taken care of me.

Its good for all parts of body. Only if it has combs with more than 16mm size, it will be the best. Also, this device need a better detailed shaver like WAHL brand.

Description says it can be used CORDED and CORDLESS. But when I got the actual trimmer it says it cannot be used while being charged. I was looking for a corded trimmer and actually bought this just because it works both ways.

So, this is supposed to be the top of the Phillips line... Meh Don't get me wrong- it cuts great! I love that it is fully waterproof. I love the stainless finish. I love how long the battery lasts. Here is what I don't love: -All of the head attachments are small- meaning a full grown man with big hands will likely drop the attachments often. I've had older products with larger attachments, and I never fumbled trying to put them on or take them off. -Why are there so many attachments?! It's a good thing this came with a nice case to hold them. you could easily combine some of these heads, in fact you have, in other models, and they worked fine. Instead I have to rummage through 20 small attachments to find what I need, dropping them in the process. -There isn't a charging stand? (as in, I can't believe there isn't a charging stand.) In fact, you can't even charge it standing up! The one blade has an awesome stand that charges, and shuts off when the battery is full. It's likely all the same internal components- Why could this feature be included in the top of your line? -Speaking of the one blade- it tells you when the battery is charged with a digital display. This feature seems obvious. -It doesn't come with a comb? I bought this to replace a phillips multigroom kit I bought over ten years ago, which wasn't your top model. Aside from not being waterproof, it outperformed in almost every other way! And I couldn't find a single current model that compared to it... I thought we should be moving forward in design and utility? not backwards. But hey- I looked all over for a good product, and this is the absolute best I could find, despite all the flaws.

I bought this less than a year ago and it has already stopped working. Recently it started turning on by itself. The next morning it stopped working completely and will no longer turn on. When I charge it, the charging light still lights up despite it no longer being functional. Very unimpressed and would not recommend to anyone.
