Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Rechargeable Electric Power Toothbrush, Navy Blue, HX6871/49

My older low budget Philips Sonic toothbrush (10 years old) finally gave up. Really debated spending this much for a toothbrush. Have plaque and tartar issues and decided to give this a try to see if it works better. I like the guided brushing that includes letting me know I missed areas and to go back for "x" seconds. I feel like my teeth are cleaner and look forward to brushing as soon as possible after meals. We will see when I go to the dentist in a couple of weeks if it really helped. Battery life is shorter than old tooth brush, but there are more features (Bluetooth is a power hog). I also use the deep clean mode which extends brushing time. I would still probably buy it again.

A friend told me to try these. I was convinced my AA powered brush was the same. I have never been more wrong. This thing makes my teeth feel like leaving the dentist within two minutes.

I absolutely love this Phillips Sonicare toothbrush! it comes with one brush head, a recharging base, and a travel case. I got the navy blue which I love. This toothbrush replaced an Oral-B I/O electric which seemed to work about half the time even though it had a full charge. The battery life was very short which didn't work for me when I travel. The reviews for the sonicare indicate that the battery lasts a long time.

It took less than 1 week from the moment I submitted my request for the warranty and proof of purchase, to the moment my new replacement arrived at my door step. I am very happy with this model. Every time I use it, I feel my teeth as clean as if I went to the dentist. It's impressive. I will certainly won't be going back to traditional toothbrush. Highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly like the brush, use it every day and I am impressed with the battery life. I would of given five stars if it was not for the cheap case that does not close and stay close. The latch does not stay put. Which is quite annoying.

I have purchased all models and it will not matter - they all stop functioning well after 2 years. So, why bother to spend more money on the expensive model?? Talk about planned obsolescence! Same on Phillips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like is that it works well. What I dislike is that there are no replacement part numbers listed anywhere on the box, inside the instructions, or on the website. I'm looking for; replacement toothbrush heads, along with batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new toothbrush has paused twice while brushing. The brush was still on making a funny noise. Had to turn off and back on to make it work properly. These brushes are too expensive to not be working properly.
