I think these are the best erasable pens. They have so many different colors to choose from and you can buy refills super easy. They erase cleanly. The only time I had trouble was when I was writing on recycled paper. They still erased, but there was a hint of color left behind and typically there is not.
I was highly impressed with these pens. I bought them for note taking because they were erasable. I was expecting the quality of the erase to be just smudge ink but these fully erased like a pencil. I am highly impressed and they've quickly become a favorite pen. The ink flows well and it writes beautifully!
I went into panic mode when I looked over and saw my 6 year old daughter doing her homework assignment with my pink pen. I have numerous pins, and thought she had grabbed a different one. In the midst of my frantic outburst, my daughter just smirked at me- "Mommy its your special pen, I just wanted to use it because its my favorite color!" Needless to say she finished her entire packet in this beautiful pink gel color, erasing every flaw she made with the end of the pen.
Love these pens. I use them for grading papers and for making my long term lesson plans. Love that they can be easily erased and I can change the color too. They make great gifts as well.
Exactly like picture I love FirXion erasable pens, keep in mind it's the heat from the eraser that makes the ink disappear. best if you don't press to hard.
Definitely fit for my purpose of marking on garment projects and easy to erase with the knob on the end, or by ironing. Best, found out these pens are REFILLABLE! So I don't have to buy more plastic outsides. Hope Walmart will carry the refills.
As someone who is obsessed with pens and purchases excessive amounts of them, I have pretty high standards. Overall I enjoy these pens and obviously love the fact that they're erasable and erase so well, if you let the ink dry before trying to erase. I also love that the eraser doesn't wear down like pencils or the old school erasable pens. It seems it'll easily outlast the ink. I have noticed issues when trying to rewrite over areas I've previously erased for some reason which I don't really understand so that's been a little frustrating. Overall I like the variety of colors but wish the ink colors were a little more bold and deeper/darker when it comes to the pink, orange and green. They can be hard to read at times. I also noticed the ink tends to skip at times with certain colors and have had one stop working for a while the 3rd time I tried using it. Eventually it worked again when I tried using it. Outside of these situations the pens write smooth with minimal effort. The pens glide well and I haven't noticed any issues with smudging. Suggestions for improvement: Personally I like being able to see how much ink is left in my pens. I didn't want to break them so I didn't force trying to take it apart to see if you can see the ink level inside or not, but it's definitely not visible from the outside. I like the design of the body of the pen and the vibrant colors and design but even just a small clear area to see ink level would be appreciated since it's inconvenient to run out when you need it. The other thing I've noticed about these pens is that they're kind of noisy which is odd. They're very lightweight which almost makes them feel cheap. I'm struggling with how to explain the noise it but it's like the plastic inside the top of the pen rattles around. I think it's mainly from the clip portion used to click and unclick the pen. It's just annoying and I notice it anytime I handle the pen, when picking it up or putting it down, and also while writing with it. It just sounds and feels cheap which I view negatively. If they could figure out a way to get rid of that plastic rattling sound, I'd probably rate them 5 stars. I'd also like more variety in the colors available in the packs. Include a standard blue and black in the pack with pink orange green and light blue since they can be hard to read sometimes. I like the fun colors for myself personally but sometimes you need the less fun standard “boring” colors which requires buying a separate pack of pens. Also packs with all blue, all black, etc. maybe these are available at some places but I've only seen the red blue and black pack and the orange, green, pink and light blue packs. Overall these are nice pens and the ability to easily cleanly erase outweighs the suggestions for improvement so I'll continue buying and using them.
my son loves these pens bc they actually erase. they do sometimes have an issue where the ink doesnt come out right bc it gets clogged from pressing, which you can fix by putting the tip in alcohol
I feel as though the advertisements for these erasable ink pens made the ink seem brighter and more bold than they actually were. The whole reason I don't use erasable ink pens is because they always seem faded, and hard to write with. The entire wording and advertisements for these pens showed that they finally had a pen that was erasable, yet still bold. Not true. All in all, they are still good pens. They still write efficiently. They just aren't as wonderful as the explanation said.
The pens skipped badly when trying to print or draw line's and the eraser were so hard to use. I'm shocked that Papermate produced such duds. I found gel pens at the Dollar Store that are better.
