These are the best mechanical pencils I have ever used. I have been in the field of education for over 30 years and I have never found a pencil like this one. The led is thicker and the triangle shape of the pencil is amazing. I actually give these to new teachers as a welcome gift.

I'm a pencil snob. I normally use a certain type of pencil, I'm just really picky about my pencils. I read thru the comments and saw the other pencil snob comments and thought I'd give them a try. I really do like how they write. A little dark but not to dark and it sets comfortably between my fingers. Normally these retractable pencils are to big. I'm completely satisfied and will buy more! I ordered the lead so I wouldn't run out. There is extra lead with the pencils but since all the school supplies are sale, I went on and ordered the lead. Try them, you're going to like them, I highly recommend these pencils. They're only a couple bucks so give these a shot, you'll see!

I was looking for a mechanical pencil that was thick like my digital art pen when I spotted these. the work great and make for a comfortable transition to traditional sketching from my tablet pen. the lead is good quality and so are the erasers, I am really enjoying them!

I'm an adult who pushes hard and wears out my fingers when I write. I love these pencils. I'm not able to break the lead, it is easier to write with, and the thick lines just look neater on paper. The triangular shape makes for a comfortable grip, as does the extra thickness of the pencil. These mechanical pencils are shorter than the traditional ones and clearly are made for kids, but they are my new favorite writing tool. I might still add add a soft grip for long note-taking sessions, but those definitely are not necessary with this writing instrument. My austistic 10 year old has difficulty grasping traditional pencils. He seems to like these. It appears that it makes writing more comfortable for him as well. The only thing that would make these pencils better is if we had more professional, adult-looking color options.

These are fun. I like the triangle shape because it doesn't roll away. It is easier to hold as the barrel is a little larger than most. I like using the thicker lead for certain things because it doesn't break as easily. .

As I get older, I have difficulty with my fingers and regular pencils. These are triangle shaped. They're not overly huge, but they're a little bit bigger than a regular pencil, and I love the fact that they are a thick print thick lead like it would be like a bold ink, pen, thickness, and now that's all I'll use is these because they make my fingers hurt less than a regular pencil and I can see the writing better because it's bold. I also found a company that makes refills for this exact pencil that 500 pencil pencil leads for less than $10 and I ordered that so I will never run out of pencil lead.

I really like these because they help me right quickly. Without my hand getting tired of having to grip a tiny little pencil, even though they're for kids, they're really helpful for people like me. Who have chronic tension in their hands? The only thing I don't like about it is that the racers often fall out. And then refuse to stay in when you replace them. But other than that, I have no qualms.

BEST mechanical pencil I've ever used! I press hard when I write…. this lead stands up to that pressure! Triangle design is comfortable. The ONLY thing I miss %26 would suggest adding is a clip so it can be kept in a pocket or attached to a notebook.

These might be good for some people, but I have small hands with mild carpal tunnel. They hurt after only a minute of trying to write with these. I'm giving my set away and I'll be buying their small yellow pencils I usually use. Also, the erasers on these are poor quality, unlike the yellow pencils, which are a dollar cheaper even.
