These bold pens improve my handwriting so much and to think of going back to a regular pen is absolutely not! I always carry one of these with me in case I have to fill something out because trying to write with a regular pen, my handwriting is all over the place. I cannot get the letters level with each other for one thing. There's something about control that these pens allow. Actually the fine point gel pens are nice also for preciseness but for regular writing,, Bold is Gold.
As a learner of the Japanese language, I sometimes have difficulty finding pens with a fine enough tip to write kana cleanly. These handle the small strokes really well with smooth and consistent ink flow. It's the same great G2 quality I've always loved, and now precise enough for my Japanese handwriting.
I absolutely LOVE these pens! The 1.0mm is the perfect size for writing my notes (and my eyes), the grip is easy for my arthritic hands, and the flow of the ink comes out VERY smoothly -- without much pressure at all. I'm very happy that these are refillable pens, as well... especially since this world has too many disposable things in it. These have been my go-to pens for the last couple of years, no doubt! Definitely recommend these pens for school, work, and general use by people at least preteen on up. Might be a little too messy for younger ages.
This is my favorite pen to keep on hand. It is smooth to write with and with nerve damage in my wrist, the bold ink shows up easily with my light pressure. I used to love the fine ink pens but as this problem got worse as I am getting older, I had to adjust to the bold ink pens. I use them for everything; letters, memos, forms, surveys, etc. So they would work great for anyone. The fine or the bold. These write great until they start getting empty and their ink stops flowing and it's time for a new pen or the ink refills. And they work great also!
These are my favorite pens to write with. The ink is dark and writes smoothly. There have been no drips or leakages The pen shows when ink is being used up and might run out soon. The only complaint is that I wish it had a faster drying time to prevent smudging with my hand until it dries.
I ordered these pens to go along with the white ink pens, so I have a contrast for my paintings and drawings. The pens are great. I can always count on them. They hold a lot of ink and they're so easy to work with and say again as an art teacher retired I am very conscious of the types and quality of art tools that I would have my students purchase and if our were still teaching, I would say purchase these pens because they are great and for the money you can't beat it thank you so much.
Dries quick, doesn't make a mess or leak in your pocket or purse. I like the narrow (.5) but also have used the wider sizes are good too. BUT on narrow college lined paper, or anywhere you need to write small, getting a lot of words down, clearly .. I recommend the smaller size.
The best pens for the money! To write notes, or draw designs, they never miss, and lines straight or curves, these are the best. So many pens SKIP! Or do not like to draw curves…I designed jewelry for many years, and I needed a pen that exactly followed what I drew without skipping…I was also a realtor for many years, and this pen never skips when filling out important forms. The only ones I use, even as retired, for check writing, or writing daily lists and notes…worth buying the BEST!
I always buy Bold - 1m pens and the Pilot G2's are still one of the best pens for the darkest ink and their smoothness. Only complaints is the "gel" empties fast !!! and sometimes they'll smear. And of course they are a bit too pricey but all pens are TOO expensive these days !!
This was an order placed online for delivery. They shipped me the wrong item... There are multiple choices for the "Mixed Colors" option of Pilot gel G2. I chose the option that gave me : black, dark blue, green, red, purple. They sent the option that had: black, light blue, orange, red, purple . Two of the colors were wrong and are of no use to me. There were other problems with this order and how Walmart attempts to deceive us into paying a $6.99 delivery fee without letting you know you are paying the delivery fee. 1] As I added items to my cart, they list the items and the price , and additional line for unknown state sales tax. NO mention of DELIVERY FEE. -- When finished adding items, they say to click and the sales tac will be added. -- When I clicked, I got a total. What they did NOT tell me was that they "sneeked in" a $6.99 delivery fee into that total. -- Still no mentioned of delivery fee -- on any line item or anywhere on the bill for this order. ** I was stupid -- I did not check their math, and paid the delivery fee. I would not have placed the order if they had been honest and showed a delivery fee on the bill. 2] The deception goes on. In the email they sent me confirming my order, THERE IS NO MENTION OF DELIVERY FEE OR SHIPPING FEE ANYWHERE IN THE EMAIL. They even go so far as to not list the price of each Item you just bought. They only give the grand total with fees of all the items. To me, this is to make sure you don't start adding up the total of all the items and figure out there is a ~ $7 discrepancy there -- a delivery charge!!!! If they had itemized delivery fee in the confirm email, I still could have cancelled the order. 3} I never dreamed Walmart of any large company would be this dishonest. And on top of that, they send you something similar they have in stock -- not what you ordered. I guess I will not be doing much business with them in the future.
