This is my first pellet grill. It is really solid and built very well. It holds the temperature precisely at wherever you set it. I have not cooked in it yet but overall I'm very happy with it.

I have purchased 3 pittboss smokers for myself and gifts to my children. Unfortunately everytime I buy 1 a child gets there own place and wants my smoker so as a father I can't say no. I wouldn't buy any other product. I bought the first one 7 years ago and my son still uses it today. If you want top quality performance in this style grill go with the boss "Pittboss" that is!!!

My old Green Mountain Grill died, and I expected this grill to be an improvement over it. So far, it has been. The size is just right for our family of four—two vertical chickens, two racks of pork ribs held at an angle, four steaks. Assembly was easy with the clear directions but a second person was helpful. Startup was easier than before, and automated shutdown was a big improvement. One criticism from others is that the pellet hopper is small and there is no low-pellet alarm, but it ran for 3+ hours on a nice spring day, so it is just something to get used to.

I've had my 700fb for two years now and love it. I've cooked on it on average 5-6 days a week since purchasing it and have had no issues. These grills are high quality and in my opinion work better than the much more expensive grills of the same size.

I used this to cook the family a huge 23lb turkey for Thanksgiving dinner and it turned out incredible. It held temp steady and even throughout a long four hour cook with only minor fluctuation in temp (+/- 5 degrees). It's built quite sturdy. And the rear smoke ventilation is nice.

This smoker is perfect for a smaller size family. I love the P setting option that allows me to adjust the frequency of the pellets dropping in the burn pot. The only thing I do not like is that it is really hard to get in under the tray to clean.

Had to disassemble the control box after adding first round of pellets because the short screw that hold the auger system's nylon bushing in place had unknowingly fallen out. The auger would push itself against the housing, putting the fan and motor into a bind. After troubleshooting and repairing it myself, it worked as advertised. The grill is very easy to use and works beautifully however according to the customer service representative, the auger malfunction is not uncommon. Hopefully they will correct this problem because the grill is worth it.
