IT FITS THE 850 TOO!
The blankets for the 850 were sold out. The size of the 'barrel' is about the same as the 700 series so, I took a chance. It fits just fine. The embedded magnets do all the work so the rear straps not being able to connect doesn't matter. It seems to capture the heat better in the cooler (35-40 degree) evenings that my grill struggled to get to 450F before.

Fits perfectly and insulates very well!
Installation was stupid simple. It's held on by strong magnets. Heats up lots quicker in below zero (Fahrenheit) cooking and holds temp very well without using as much fuel as before. The only downside is that it doesn't keep ME as warm when I'm standing in front of it - I used to get lots of warmth and most of that is gone now.

Big help
It is exactly what the smoker needed. Keeps it warmer in the winter and also helps hold heat which means less pellets used. I suggest getting it for your pit boss smoker

We purchased the 700 FB this summer and have been looking forward to being able to use it throughout the Kansas winter season. The cover fits the grill, allowing easy access. A welcome accessory for the upcoming cold months.

Pellet usage decreased accurate heating
Cover fit as described. Really like the imbedded magnets that hold the cover tight to the unit while in use, keeping the lid positively closed.

Must have item
Fits the Pit Boss 700 perfectly. Well made. Magnets hold to metal with no problem. Came in handy when smoking a brisket during cold weather. Temperature held steady for hours. Would highly recommend.

Pit boss blanket
Smoker blanket saves on pellets especially for use during the winter. Easy to put on and we'll plan to leave it on full-time.

Insulated cover
The blanket is just the thing for grilling and smoking in cooler weather. The only thing that could stand a change is the strap at back of the cover, they are too short. Other than that, it's a great product.

Pitboss insulated blanket.
easy to install and covers smoker well. However straps on around the legs won't fasten together - not sure why they need them anyway.
