I usually Hate the smell of patchouli! Too many olfactory memories of unwashed bodies, pot, & patchouli mixed together as the perfume of choice at mountain music festivals. I put off ordering as long as possible. Opened the bottle & was so very pleasantly surprised! It is fresh smelling, not sickly sweet. I really like PT's version! Can't believe it! I can't wait to use it in different recipes/diffuser blends. This coming from the lady who refused to use it for 20 years. :laughing:

Love the smokiness. Added it to an unscented body butter together with pine and spruce to create a forresty smell, worked great. Also like to add it to shampoo to prevent scalp dryness during the winter. Planning on adding it to a facial oil for anti aging benefits.

I discovered this oil at an oils party I went to with a friend (MLM oils company)and instantly fell in love with it! So decided to order for much cheaper through PT! Smells exactly the same as the other company! I love this oil in perfumes, in my diffuser necklace when I need a pick me up, or I diffuse around this house! Also use this in a diy anti-aging facial serum with frankincense and lavender! This oil brings out your inner hippie and seriously helps when I'm feeling down! Highly recommend this oil!!!!

Patchouli is such a nice earthy scent that blends well with other essential oils, and helps to bring forth a soothing aroma. I've used it in conjunction with fir balsam essential oil and cracked pepper fragrance oil when making a batch of masculine soap. The scent was truly wonderful!!! And soothing as well. I too enjoyed using it:blush:

It's all right for the price. The patchouli isn't very strong and doesn't linger. It's disappointing.

Nothing wrong with this patchouli. Smells like it should - rich and earthy. but it arrived with a loose seal. Postal office must've opened it up for checking as the cap had a ring of marks around it. Not the first time as one package previously arrived with a penknife slit on the package. Can't be helped but. This goes into the pariah corner Of my EO cabinet as someone's nose had been in it- or maybe I'll use it just for diffusing.

theres NO WAY this is Patchouli scent! i like it, I'm keeping it, i used it last night but THERE IS NO WAY THIS MARKED BOTTLE OF "PATCHOULI" IS ACTUALLY PATCHOULI! There's more "patchouli" in your "Natural Mist Room Spray" that also consists of Spearmint
