Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts, 1.25 lb Jar

I love this blend of Planters Peanuts. Picking a favorite is like picking a favorite child but this one might be it. Ssshhh! Don't tell the others. I think what I like most about this particular flavor is the saltiness. They sort of remind me of peanut butter and I imagine that this would be nice blended into peanut butter. We enjoy having these with cocktails and beer. They are crunchy and the peanuts seem very fresh.

These are a staple for a reason. The peanuts are fresh, crunchy, and have just the right amount of salt without being overwhelming. Perfect for snacking on their own or adding to recipes. Definitely a go-to when I want something simple and satisfying.

These are everything I want in a classic peanut with the crunchy texture and the perfect amount of salt. I love these as a snack by themselves or crushed up and sprinkled on yogurt, salads or added to some of my favorite recipes. These are the first peanuts I would grab when I am at the store.

I love snacking on salty foods in between meals, when entertaining, or when watching sports on TV. I have found that store brand salted peanuts are never consistent in freshness or salt levels however. Planters are a premium brand that may cost a bit more money, but they consistently deliver a fresh, full amount of peanuts. I do not mind buying a can, especially when they are bogo. The peanuts are always fresh, and have the consistent crunch I expect.

The peanuts themselves were fresh tasting and not stale which you can find sometimes in other brands. They were a bit too salty in my personal opinion but I've never been a big fan of salty items. I ate half as is from the jar and then used the second half as an addition to a trail mix I made and they were very good with that mixture. The sweet and salty go together well.

What can you say besides that it's planters. It's quality all by its name. Delicious product I've been buying it for 40 plus years. Sometimes I put a little bit in a bowl and heat it up in the microwave. And it's my favorite thing to put on ice cream.

I received this product in exchange for my review. Although the dry roasted peanuts are fresh and maintain their freshness while in the can, I am not a fan of this flavor. However, I do serve them at get togethers and my guests love them. So, I will continue to purchase them.
