Plantronics RIG 400HX Camo Stereo Gaming Headset for Xbox One

Ever since purchasing my XBOX One a couple of years ago I have used the standard XBOX headset by Microsoft. However, as this had recently developed a fault, I decided to buy a replacement headset. So far I'm really impressed with the build and sound quality and wished I had upgraded much sooner. Several friends have more expensive headsets by different brands and I find this headset to be easily on par with the more expensive offerings of other brands.

I'm going to just come out and say that I have a big head. So finding a headset that would not only fit but be comfortable is always tough. I previously owed Turtle Beach X11s when I owned my Xbox360 but they never were very comfortable. I was hesitant to try a new brand after I bought my Xbox One. But I'm so glad that I did. These headphones are comfortable. They don't squeeze my head, the material on the ears is very breathable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that is worried about any of these issues. And for the price, you can't beat it!

I bought this but the mic piece didn't come with the actual headset so i can't talk so I was wondering if i could get one because i would like to talk to people.

We have had so many headsets and this one is by far the best. My son had this one for two years and part of it broke just recently probably because he is rough on them. Two years is pretty good though. We got another brand and 15 minutes after bring that one home, took it back because the quality of audio was terrible. It hit us, "Why didn't we just buy one just like he had?" So, we went back and got a second one that hopefully will last another two years.

As an entry level headset, primarily for the Xbox gaming system, the RIG 400HX is a fine piece of kit. The headset looks stylish, is light weight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time due to the memory foam ear pads. The sound quality is very good with the only down sides being a lack of deep base (although not unexpected) and perhaps a little loss in clarity. That being said the sound stage is wide and precise, the mic has some noise cancelling built in and other gamers had no issues hearing me. The RIG 400HX does a fantastic job as an entry level set of headphones whilst still retaining features offered by sets at the higher end. Highly recommended!

The headphones are built with lightweight materials and are comfortable. The sound quality is fairly good and the microphone is detachable and works well. Because the padding is a foam type material they slip about on your head quite alot. Also the headphone speakers detach fairly easily from the headban as they are clipped in rather than on hinges. I don't really like the foam material on the headphones but the style otherwise is what I wanted. Can attach to phones or other devices that have a standard headphone socket or with a USB type cable that fits into a standard Samsung charger port

I bought this headset about a month ago as I recently got and Xbox X. The audio quality was great, I could hear my games really well. The headset is also quite comfortable. However, only a week after I bought this headset my friends said that they could barely hear me through the mic and that I was muffled and quiet. I still cannot communicate to my friends effectively because of this headset and was wondering if there is a fix for it or if I could get a new mic or different headset.

So I broke my mic 3 months later I go to the store to get a brand new mic I saw this one and saw it had sround sound I was like yea cool let's get it I'm driving back home so exited I plug it in and then... My friends can't hear me at all I even put it really close to my mouth and I'm always cutting out or they can't hear me the mic part is sooooo short I need to take a part of the headphone off of my ear just so it could touch the corner of my mouth... I'm am sooooo disappointed.
