honestly the best controller ive ever used. with high quality materials and great response time. but due to how crazy the price is i would probably on recommend this to serious competive gamers.

Even though the product is a bit pricey all around it's a great product. I just have one issue with it and it just don't stay charged all day the battery life isn't that long. I've had it for about one day now and I had to charge it twice after completing the charge the first go round. I'm a streamer and a gamer and the controller battery life could use some work. Other than that I'm happy with the product.

2nd purchase of this controller, comfortable for long term game play. 1st controller still works but developed minimal drift. I've played with other gamers that smack or throw their controller - NOT recommended unless you want to continually replace them.

It's is beautiful I can swap easily with the button for my games sensitivity and I can swap to rivals settings or my helldivers sensitivity settings or my 76 setting and it's so nice to have but the I don't use the bottom bumpers idk how to use it anyways

Great controller, feels smooth and love the extra paddles, the 3 custom button map outs is awesome, more expensive but if my sticks get stick drift I can just replace them instead of of the whole controller.

The Dual sense edge is a great controller for those want all the features of the base DS, but with a few premium features. Let's start with the design, you get the familiar dual sense look, but with some additional heft, due to the new stick module and back paddle set up. Stick drift seems to be fairly common with DS controllers, so having the option to quickly swap out the sticks is great. I hope Sony someday offers a Hall Effect/TMR option, but that would definitely come with a premium, since they wouldn't likely need to be replaced. Software is another highlight of the controller, the built in software for the PlayStation makes set up and tuning a breeze. But the real star of the show is the additional paddles. You get two rear programmable paddles, either the long stem style paddles or the half dome option. Both are aluminum and great to use, but I prefer the half dome. My two biggest issues with the Edge are... 1: Only having two buttons, due to another company owning the patent on the four paddle design, Sony has opted for two. 2: The battery life, man this controller has some seriously bad battery life. I was only able to squeeze out around 2-3 hours of consitent game time, before switching controllers or reaching for the charging cable. At the asking price, battery life should have been improved. over the base DS, but likely due to the space needed for the stick modules and paddles, they actually went with a smaller battery. It's a great first attempt at a Pro controller from Sony, but with a revision they may be able to improve on my complaints. But that is likely a PS6 option, since I can't imagine a new model releasing on the PS5.

It was opened box not sure it was used or not, supposed to be new and unopened. Going to give it as an Christmas gift so won't get to see if it is dysfunctional or not. Really disappointed about getting a opened box. Will update when the gift receiver use it.

Idk how the quality of the controller is because I didn't get it. Someone clearly tore the box open and removed the case before it was even packed for shipping.

Well, the stick drift problem still exists, so if you're buying to prevent stick drift, look elsewhere because you'll be buying 20 dollar replacements regularly where each one is $32 individually. It sickens ne that a sony player needs to pay $200 to streamline the accessibility controller remapping to two button combinations where players who didnt pay this premium have to go through 4 menus to do the samething this premium controller can do in two button presses, not to mention how many people have probably purchased this for the Advertised button remapping capabilites while hiding that function for standard controllers from the players. (Settings, accessories, controllers, "custom button assignments for dualsense wireless confroller" if you're unaware) But if you want to buy into a stabdard dualsense wireless annivery controller for nostalgia, have fun paying double the $79.99! my dualsense edge will cost me more in its button and triggers lifetime (joystick life time is 3-6 months.) than if i bought a Cronus Zen $100 , a 100 keyboard and a 80 mouse and never have to replace any of them in my lifetime with the same vigilant care I provide my controllers until i WISH to upgrade. I was forced to buy this after purchases 2 new controllers because they both got stick drift! that over $160 for two controllers that brok in 3 months and ~7 months, respectively. But then this also got stickdrift. I do not recommend this purchase, I recommend a Cronus Zen just to buy a cheap controller from not sony to replace your broken stick drift controller with a controller from a company that their business model isn't "Sell almost broken to force repeat purchases for the same customer's lifetime." Sony, has yo u buy a now $800 console and sell you an excluded vertical stand just so their cheap thermal paste can melt on your motherboard to force you to buy another console. If you're curious about how my controller looks, grab $2,000 for a $399.99 purchase and just burn it. that's what my black dualsense edge wireless controller looks like.
